Self Contained Cottage in Bowral with Fireplace

Beautiful new self contained cottage set on large grounds, conveniently situated midway between Mittagong and Bowral and close to restaurants, shops and wineries. A world away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but easy access to all the Highlands has to offer. An ideal base to explore all the towns of the Highlands or stay home, relax and read in front of the fire.
There is abundant bird life and beautiful views of Mount Gibralter.
Some breakfast provisions, teas and coffee are provided.

The space
Brand new fully self contained cottage with full kitchen and bathroom with bath and large shower, separate toilet and lounge, dining area with large screen TV.
Large alfresco area with views of the garden and BBQ is the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Guest access
Guests have a separate entrance and driveway but are welcome to stroll in the garden.

Other things to note
This area is very quiet in the evenings and is suited to couples wanting a quiet, romantic weekend away. We would ask that you respect our neighbours and refrain from making a noise.

Beautiful modern cottage with everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. The host was very friendly and welcoming, and we loved the homemade friands, sparkling wine and other goodies. The garden was lovely too.

Our stay at cottage was simply perfect. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The garden was calming and peaceful. My second stay at Tucked Away Cottage, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The perfect spot for a Writing Retreat, or Reading by the fireplace. So amazing. Bowral is one of my favourite places to go for a break, and this cottage is the best place in Bowral to stay. Debbie and Mike are lovely hosts, thank you two again! Cannot recommend this stay enough.

Great property with everything you need

Debbie was an excellent host and the property was exceptionally well presented and accurately described. Kitchen very well equipped, everything you could possibly need. Bed very comfortable and bathroom modern and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay!

We had a great stay at Tucked Away II. l. It’s close to town, shops, and parks. The house is clean, comfortable, and has a nice garden. Perfect for relaxing. Wi-Fi and TV worked well. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful. Self Contained Cottage in Bowral with Fireplace, is the best retreat I could've hoped for. Debbie and Mike, the hosts, were amazing. Their property is just stunning, and lovingly kempt. They put the cottage together wonderfully, creating an incredibly comfortable, welcoming and private getaway I miss already! This cottage, and Bowral is now one of my favourite places to stay in NSW. Thank you for an amazing stay. Twenty Stars!

Wonderful place in the highlands

Debbie was a most gracious host. Mike in the background has done an amazing job on their garden. The cottage is immaculate, filled with all the things you need / didn't know you needed, and is very comfortable. It's the perfect spot to access what's on offer in the highlands. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if looking in the highlands.

We knew this place was going to be good, but it was even better than we expected. Debbie had the place well stocked, it was beautiful and clean, very comfortable. It is right next to the main house but still very private.

We really appreciated all the little touches that Debbie had put in to make our stay extra special. She baked delicious friands and provided other snacks/drinks to make us feel at home. Our wedding Anniversary

We came to the cottage after work and we were greeted by Debbie who gave us a lovely tour of the place. Even provided us with muffins on arrival. We enjoyed our stay as my wife and I felt at peace and comfortable. Would highly recommend coming here to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Weekend Getaway

The cottage exceeded our expectations in comfort, privacy, and delicious freshly made berry and banana muffins and bubbles to enjoy in the evening to take in the glowing sunset against the rock formation of Mt Gibralter. Hosts Debbie and Mike should be congratulated and proud of the lovely oasis they have created.
