"I am posting because both management and the public need to know. I picked this hotel because it had an 8.6 rating, and I read someone’s review about the “musty” smell. I saw the managements response to “humid Texas”, I, however, decided to go with this hotel versus others. We understand that Texas is humid especially on the coast, as we own a house in another coastal town. This hotel was absolutely awful with the smell. Management should really address this as it made the stay intolerable."

"This was a quick stay over on our way to Galveston for a cruise. The room was dirty when we got there, but the staff got on it and had it cleaned by the time we got back from dinner. The AC was top notch and froze me out!"

"Blow dryer cord was cut, phone did not work, ac was loud, bar was busy with undesirable people going all through the parking lot, outside security door did not work."

"Husband wanted to stay here, NEVER AGAIN! I believe room wasn’t cleaned, NO hand towels and bath towels in the room. Something was spilled under the wall by the hanging mirror. When we went to close the blinds for the night, a man’s tank top came falling off between the blinds. Post said they serve hot breakfast, NOPE .. muffins and coffee is all they had. Parking lot was full of trash. Couldn’t find a cart to carry in our luggage or carry it out when we checked out."

"We arrived at 12pm and asked if we could leave our vehicle while my family and I went to the beach, the guy said he would call when the room was ready but he never did. We were at the beach until 4:30 and wanted to check in but the guy left and said he won’t be back till 5pm. A lot of other upset guest wanting to check in and couldn’t. We were tired and needed to shower. The blow dryer in the room didn’t work and I kept smelling electrical burn."

"The staff was extremely nice. The only complaint I have is the room smelled like mildew. It's a bed & a bathroom which served it's purpose. It was very clean though. We wanted a room on the beach & that's what it is."

"We arrived at the location and the guy in the front said the system what down and it wouldn’t be up for hours or until 7am. we couldn’t get a refund because no one responded to our message we sent. I had to spend more money for a different hotel."
