There was not a lot of space for clothes e.g. drawers or shelves for putting clothes, only the one very small wardrobe. If anyone has problems with stairs there was a spiral staircase which was quite tricky. It looks amazing though. The breakfast was very nice, no self service, all brought to the table."

"Generally a good experience, but with reservations. A hotel of character, much nicer than bland city tower blocks, but ready for overall refurbishment. Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. Food excellent quality, well prepared. More choice of breakfast buffet items would be welcome. If you are solo and book in advance for dinner, be aware that you might...
