Elegant 5 Bedroom Family Country House in Peaceful Rural Village, Dog Friendly

Enjoy a peaceful stay at our elegant boutique recently renovated house, nestled in the rural village of Funtington, with a host of activities along with the historic city of Chichester nearby. All rooms have access to bathrooms. The house comprises of 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 sitting rooms, large open plan kitchen/diner, 2 fridge freezers, pantry and boot room, along with an exquisite country gardens that wrap around the house.

Perfect for family with kids as there are plenty of activities for them to enjoy, ranging from museums, beaches and country walks. You can even take an Alpaca for a walk (farm only 3 mins drive from Saddlers).

Also ideal for people with no kids and enjoyed as a relaxing rural retreat and enjoy the quiet county lifestyle.

This rental is for exclusive access and no people other than you and your guests will occupy the property during your rental.

As a thank you for booking with us, a delicious and generous complimentary welcome hamper is provided to get your started during your well earned stay with us.

COVID-free
Our cleaning team will be conducting an additional deep clean and disinfection of all rooms, and our staff will be required to wear masks and gloves during the clean down.

Before and after guests stay, we do an atmospheric sanitisation throughout the entire house.

We have been certified with the Vist England We're Good to Go accreditation.

Fabulous!

We stayed at Saddlers for my husband's 60th birthday. We had all our family come to stay as there was plenty of space for all of us to have our own ensuite rooms. The house is beautiful, lovely decor, super clean and comfortable for 9 of us which is not always easy! Milly the owner was so helpful before our stay and gave us lots of great ideas of where to go and what to see. Along with a welcome hamper, there was even a card and cake for my husband! We had a really great time at Saddlers and would definitely return.

loved it!!!

This house was at a great location and it was right in the middle of everything making it very easy to go places. Milly was a lovely hostess and the house was perfect for a large family. All the rooms were excellent and very clean. The sunny garden had ample furniture and beautiful flowers. The house had been well looked after and was in great condition. Had an amazing family holiday and would be happy to go back!!!

Great house

The house was lovely - and the garden even better. A drive to the beaches in the area but that suited us just fine, lovely and quiet where we were. Everything was spotless when we arrived, and we were very lucky with the weather and had a week of being outside in the glorious gardens that surround the house. The only - and very slight - quibble was that the fridge was on the small side if the house was full to capacity - but then the week we were there was very hot so literally everything had to go into the fridge. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Wonderful property

Great property, immaculately decorated and with so many unexpected luxury touches. Stayed here with 3 generations of the family and a dog. We never felt constrained as there was so much room in the house and the lovely gardens. There’s every conceivable utensil and appliance in the kitchen, and all the en-suite bathrooms were perfectly clean and equipped. Milly couldn’t have been any more helpful as a host, and even posted some items back to us that we’d left in one of the bedrooms. All-in-all, a fabulous property with loads to do just a short drove away, as well as pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Beautiful country home

This is the first time we have been to West Sussex. The owner made us very welcome in her beautiful home. We arrived to a delightful hamper full of essentials. The house was spotless and immediately we felt at home. The house is set in lovely grounds and surrounded by picturesque scenery The house is in a great location, close to some beautiful was along the South Downs and not too far from some gorgeous beautiful beaches. The owner left a wonderful welcome pack with detailed instruction and also lots of places to go and visit.
