Eric has a warm catalan personality with his typical rugby stature, He is a “bon vivant” who likes sharing his knowledge about local wines and food.
Nicole comes from belgium and speaks her langages (french, dutch, english, spanish, German).
They offer:
- a warm welcome with guided tour of the property,
- pool and garden maintenance
- advice on the sites and the various activities of the region
- wine tasting and dinner based on regional dishes on request
They also make sure that no student or youth party takes place!

You can choose the route via Luxembourg and Lyon (maybe stay over in Beaune, the city of Bourgonje wines).
Or you can take the route via Paris / Clermont Ferrand (like coming from UK)
Or you can take the route via Paris / Toulouse and you can plan to stay over nearby Vierzon where you can find numerous castles like Club Vacanciel La Ferté Himbault where we stayed many times (when the kids were younger)

On the A9 in Direction Spain you will pass Perpignan.
From there you can best follow Thuir, Fourques and finally Llauro.
Before you actually reach the village you make a left turn to the Calcine, drive all the way up, past the cemetery until you reach nearly the top and see the sign voor Nr. 13 to the right.
You can park on the premises behind the gates.

They invite you to discover the Pyrenees mountain biking: Downhill mountain biking in a full or half day guided by a qualified instructor.
There are countless cycle touring paths and facilities in Pyrénées-Orientales, on quiet little roads along the coast or across the plains, from Perpignan to Thuir and from Barcarès to Rivesaltes.

A day at the beach in Argeles sur Mer:
Argeles sur Mer is about half an hour drive from la Villa de Mierlo. Best is to drive to the Port of Argeles and keep Rue du Port in your navigation, on the floorplan you find the parking under A.
Here you can find some nice bars, restaurants and shops.
From the parking it is only a few minutes walk to Beachclub Charly, Plage Sud
