  • Este condominio de lujo frente al mar se encuentra en Mangrove Bight en West End. Está convenientemente ubicado en una zona segura y tranquila del West End. ¡No hay necesidad de un automóvil! Está a 2 minutos a pie de bares, restaurantes, tiendas de buceo y Half Moon Bay Beach (donde se encuentra el famoso Sundowners Bar), y a menos de 10 minutos en barco de West Bay Beach, que se considera una de las mejores playas de el Caribe.

    Este condominio de 1800 pies cuadrados con aire acondicionado y bien decorado tiene todo lo que pueda desear. Es una unidad del segundo piso ubicada en el Edificio Egret, que está a un edificio del agua. El condominio tiene vistas al océano y a la piscina, así como fantásticas brisas durante todo el año.

    -Un balcón con excelentes vistas al océano, una brisa fantástica, una gran parrilla de propano, una mesa y sillas, y dos tumbonas.

    Este lujoso condominio tiene capacidad para 6 personas. Las unidades vecinas de tres dormitorios y dos baños también están disponibles para alquilar si usted es un grupo más grande.

    Como parte de nuestro servicio de alquiler, podemos organizar cualquier cosa y todo lo que desee hacer mientras esté en la isla. Hemos vivido aquí por más de 10 años y sabemos todo sobre todo en Roatán. Incluso podemos abastecer el refrigerador con sus comidas y bebidas favoritas. ¿Qué mejor que tener una cerveza helada esperándote a tu llegada?


    A diferencia de algunas de las otras unidades en Mangrove Dock, no incluimos electricidad en el precio del alquiler. Esto nos permite cobrar una tarifa de alquiler más justa y más barata, HASTA $ 700 MENOS POR SEMANA.

    Suponiendo que use el aire acondicionado por la noche a una temperatura razonable, la factura de electricidad típica es de $ 15 - $ 20 / día.

    Leemos el medidor al momento del check-in y check-out y usamos la factura del mes anterior para determinar la tarifa. Descubrimos que la inclusión de la electricidad en el precio hacía que las personas quisieran obtener el valor de su dinero al dejar los A / C constantemente encendidos y todas las luces encendidas. No solo es ecológico, sino que teníamos que mantener la tarifa de alquiler alta para cubrir el costo de las grandes facturas de electricidad.

    Tenemos un viento fantástico durante todo el año que llega directamente a través del condominio si deja las puertas abiertas. El dormitorio principal se abre al balcón para que pueda dejar la puerta corrediza de vidrio abierta y disfrutar de una agradable brisa del océano. Es posible que ni siquiera necesite aire acondicionado.

The communication from Caroline was fabulous. Every question was answered very quickly. THE security on the property was great, and enjoyed the daily spainish lessons from them.

Perfect walking distance to west end, and can even have water taxi pick up/drop off at the dock. Caroline was very attentive when WiFi was not working they got on top of it right away. We will definitely stay in these condos again!

The place was beautiful and clean. It had 24 hour security, a pool, and a dock where water taxis couls pick us up and drop us off. The outside hang out areas were a great place to relax and enjoy the breeze. We loved it.

Great place very clean and any questions we had were answered quickly. About 3 blocks from downtown many restaurants and bars to choose from very safe walking and locals very nice..... definitely will stay same place next time!!!

Great place to stay!

The location is a short walk to the restaurants and bars at west end. Property has parking for rental car. The kitchen and house well stocked with appliances and cooking utensils and grill. Comfy and homey!

We loved our stay at Mangrove Docks. The property has a great location, quiet but very convenient and walkable to town. The beds were so comfortable, more than my bed at home. Caroline’s communication was superb. We had an issue with losing power to the water pump and it was fixed within 20 mins of making the call. The property is guarded 24 hours but we never felt unsafe. Sitting in the morning drinking coffee on the dock will forever be a favorite moment. Stowaway is a restaurant right next door, excellent food and chef owners. When we cooked we had everything we needed in the fully stocked kitchen! Highly recommend!

Anniversary trip

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this location, we love how close it is to the West End. Always happy, Caroline was wonderful and easy to communicate with!! Will be back for sure.

The location is excellent, but ultimately we can't recommend this condo

If location is your only priority, then you will be happy here. The location truly cannot be beat. It is a short walk to West End (~3-5 minutes), the area is quiet, and the condo feels very safe & secure with a 24-hr. security guard on-site. The property grounds are also very nice. The pool was clean & the dock made getting home via water taxi super easy. Now on to the not so great stuff -- the condo needs some updates & my experience with the host, Caroline, was less than ideal. Starting with the condo, the two king size beds were horribly uncomfortable. They are about 1/2 the thickness of a standard bed (that you would find in the US); I'd estimate 6-8 inches thick. Conversely, the 3rd smaller room had a very comfortable memory foam Queen-size bed. The problem with the 3rd room is that the air conditioning unit is in the closet and it cycles during the night. Without AC, the condo heats up quickly even at night. The kitchenware needs to be upgraded, as does the bathroom facet in the master bedroom -- it is glass and you can see the mold growing in it. On to my experience with Caroline -- everything was great until it wasn't. I have never spent so much time texting a host while on vacation. I would get into details, but am limited by character count, so I'll just say that she was difficult to work with. Every question or request was met with comments like "it is probably operator error", or questioning what we did wrong rather than being professional and handling it.

Beautiful condo, distressing interaction

Our family of five (two parents, two kids, and grandma) stayed on the 2nd floor of the Egret Building for 16 nights. The condo is beautiful--lovely, spacious layout, gorgeous furniture, comfortable beds, fully-equipped kitchen, very peaceful and quiet, lovely veranda overlooking the pool, and even a nice little library with puzzles and an excellent book on reef life. Caroline (the property manager) was gushingly warm and helpful when we first made our booking, but sadly things went downhill from there. She wasn't there to meet us when we arrived, so we struggled to figure things out (how to use the safe and key lock, where to find the bath towels, etc.), and she didn't stock our fridge with the drinks she'd promised. She also didn't fix the scalding shower and broken sink in the bathroom when we alerted her to the problem. Worst of all was a distressing experience we had with theft. We arranged a time for the cleaning staff to come clean the condo and agreed to be out when they came. I took off my two necklaces--a Buddhist protection cord and an opal on a fine gold chain--and laid them on the shelf beside my Buddhist text in preparation for swimming. Three hours later, my opal necklace was gone, and in its place was my daughter's silver butterfly necklace. My daughter was very confused. I knew instantly that something was amiss. At first, I thought the cleaning staff had stolen the whole necklace, but later my daughter discovered the opal minus chain inside her jewelry bag, which lay unzipped on the bathroom sink. My gold chain was gone. My mom's drawers had been rifled through and left in a messy state. I confronted the cleaning staff about the chain, and they denied having taken it. When I contacted Caroline, she told me I was wrong, that the cleaning staff had not stolen it. After much frustrated messaging over WhatsApp, my chain mysteriously reappeared three days later under a placemat in the dining room, badly knotted and twisted. It took me 30 minutes with tweezers and needle to untwist it. Caroline claimed she spent "25 min reviewing security footage" but found no evidence that the staff had reentered our condo (I never did see a security camera on the property). She was adamant that her staff had not stolen the chain. I ended up feeling like she had no respect for us as her guests. We felt violated and lied to. Please, if you stay here, lock up everything you care about in the safe when the cleaning staff comes.

Can't wait to come back

We rented this place with a large group of friends. We rented 4 units in total. It was just fantastic.The property is large, clean, well equipped. Absoutely no complaints. The property manager, Caroline, was fantastic. She made our trip so much better by providing us with information before we arrived about the island and COVID regulations. She also organized our tests to go back to the US. It made traveling during these hard times much easier.

Love it

This place is fantastic. It definitely lives up to the reviews and the photos. It was huge, clean, spacious, well stocked, comfortable, and in very good condition. Caroline was very helpful the entire time and made our stay very enjoyable. We will be back.

Perfect rental!

This place is huge in comparison to other rental properties on the island. 1600 sq feet and very well designed. Loved the comfortable couch and new large flat screen smart tv. We cooked the entire time of our stay and the kitchen had everything we needed. Will be back to stay again.
