    In the open-concept bedroom and kitchen, the rooms flow together naturally. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who love to cook, perfect for dinners featuring seasonal vegetables from local growers. A small library with books and magazines is available for moments of inspiration.



    The cottage stands freely surrounded by open fields on a quiet gravel road. In the private garden, outdoor furniture awaits for long breakfasts in the morning sun. In season, you’re welcome to pick flower bouquets and fresh herbs from the farm’s garden or enjoy sun-warmed tomatoes from the greenhouse.



    Spend the day at one of the beautiful sandy beaches, such as Mälarhusen or Sandhammaren. The nearest village is Borrby, four kilometers away, with a shop, bakery, bistro, and bar. Explore Österlen’s cozy cafés, antique shops, and art galleries. Cyclists are welcome, and we’re happy to share suggestions for rides of varying lengths.

The house is separate from the home of your hosts,...

The house is separate from the home of your hosts, Sofia and Erik, and features a beautiful garden where you can fully enjoy the stunning scenery and surroundings. In the immediate vicinity, you can take long walks down to the sea, and at the same time, the house is very close to the center of Borrby. The atmosphere around the house is simply beautiful. The garden, with its magnificent birch trees and many flowering plants, is a very special place. You can watch the birds that are frequently seen flitting among the trees; just sitting there alone and watching the goings-on is incredibly relaxing. The location is very quiet—practically no cars drive by—and the nights are wonderfully quiet and restful. Inside the house, too, every little detail has been thought of, both in terms of the furnishings and the comfort. Everything is designed with great taste and care, creating a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. We especially loved the color scheme, in which green plays a central role. After a day at the beach or an outing in the surrounding area, it was simply wonderful to come home and relax there.
