  • ¡El clásico encanto de la montaña se une a las sensibilidades modernas en esta acogedora cabaña para escapadas! Originalmente construida como una de las primeras casas de verano en la comunidad de Crystal Mountain, esta casa se ha actualizado y redecorado de principio a fin a partir de 2018 y está lista para que usted y sus seres queridos disfruten.

    La casa cuenta con estacionamiento pavimentado parcialmente cubierto a nivel y solo un paso para ingresar. Lo primero que notará al entrar es que las vigas expuestas y el techo abovedado atraen su atención hacia arriba. La cocina está a su derecha en el momento de la entrada y tiene electrodomésticos de color negro y una barra grande para espacio de preparación de alimentos, así como asientos secundarios. Hay una mesa de comedor redonda a la izquierda en un pequeño rincón, ideal para que 5 puedan sentarse y disfrutar de una comida juntos. Una selección de sofás y sillas están dispuestas alrededor de una chimenea de leña con un gran televisor montado encima, y ​​hay puertas corredizas de vidrio que conducen a la cubierta.

    Al final del pasillo hay un baño con una ducha de bloques de vidrio, con dos dormitorios al final del pasillo. Cada habitación tiene una cama doble. La habitación de la derecha tiene una lavadora y secadora metidas en el armario, y la habitación de la izquierda tiene puertas que conducen a la cubierta.

Great house and location

This house was the perfect place for extended family to stay while visiting child/grandchild at App State. Definitely recommend and definitely would stay again.

Beautiful and conveniently located property

Great mountain views on a quiet road, within a small mountainside community. We enjoyed a snowy VERY cold long weekend!

Amazing Christmas

The property was as described. We spent Christmas week here, we all had a great time. It can probably use a deep cleaning and some maintenance, but overall still a 5-star experience!

Incredible property, incredible neighborhood, incredible check in process and the house was fabulous. Is a perfect spot for friends, or family… Great location perfectly located in between BR and Boone, definitely planning to come again and hopefully be able to have this house!!!!

Great views - cabin feel - well stocked

The property was in great shape, they provided a pretty well stocked kitchen. Had 2 firepits to use so that was a nice touch. We do wish that the shower head worked better and that the bathroom was cleaner. Also, there is only one bathroom for 3 rooms, so took some managing with kids. Overall the location was pretty quiet and a nice escape from reality.

I would not stay here again and their property manager is not very responsive

We booked this place as a quick getaway for an extended weekend of skiing on 1/13/24. However, the place was extremely cold, with no heat air traveling to the rooms. We had to call their property manager, Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals, multiple times before someone came out. When the technician came out, he couldn't do anything and just said that he would bring some portable heaters. In the meantime, the next day, we had to call the property manager, and they moved us to another location that would not be available until that evening. Unfortunately, we spent a good few hours waiting and kept calling and sending the other people to a ski resort while my wife and I were waiting at the house. When we were speaking to one of their agents, they mentioned that they might be able to get a refund due to what we were going through. I gave them the benefit of the doubt to wait for them to respond. Well, that was wishful thinking. No calls except for the automated "take our survey" emails. I called them again on 1/25 and left a voicemail. Still no calls from them. Very unfortunate.

Great getaway in the woods

House was good size a little smaller than what the pictures showed. Bathroom upstairs really needs a good cleaning mold all over shower. Floors needed a little scrubbing. Downstairs was nice but smelled musty. Dehumidifier was full and the water holding tank was very moldy.

I would like to say my family including our Dog, Belgian Malinois male. had an amazing vacation. Yesterday we left the property but we want more days lol. but we need to work hard again and come back next year. Thank you so much team for this beautiful place in the mountain. #Thankyou.

Great location and cozy cabin!

This cabin is very cozy, perfect for a small family or couple friends. The location is perfect, easy to get to blowing rock or Boone! The property has a great side yard with the fire pit and neat large boulders. Also great pet friendly home as well.

Nice location, cute cottage, not very clean

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The cottage was in a convenient location with a pretty view. We enjoyed the complimentary delicious fudge that was on the counter when we walked in :) Our girls loved the upstairs kids' loft. However, they toys and games that were listed in the description should be replenished. There was one Barbie with no hair and two games with missing pieces. Fortunately our girls each brought a few toys from home to play with. The cottage was difficult for us Floridians to drive to and from, as the roads leading to it were steep, narrow, and windy - take caution. It was quite an adventure for us! On the day of checkin, I never received the gate information I was told I would get in an email, so I had to call and get it, which was difficult with spotty service. However, everyone I talked to was very friendly. Communication was always very prompt leading up to the trip as well. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. I could smell urine as soon as I walked inside, there were cobwebs all over, there was mold in the shower, and the doors/walls had long stain drips all over. These are things that should and could easily be cleaned. The landscaping could use some attention as well. Weeds are taking over and the potted plants in the front were mostly dead. This didn't affect our stay, but does affect your initial impression when driving up to the cottage for the first time. The place appeared very run down and we were honestly intimidated to walk inside based on the appearance of the exterior. These little touches and extra care to attention/detail could have made for a better review.

A Nice, Quiet, Peaceful Place

Our family had a rough year and needed a 'resting' vacation. This was a great place to do that. The deck was nice for during the day and the fire circle was a great touch for the evenings. We weren't too far from Boone or Blowing Rock and got to take advantage of fun things to do and great places to eat in both spots.

Kid friendly and quiet

Tucked away in a nice gated community in the mountains. This cottage is cozy, nicely decorated and kid friendly with their own loft. Just the right size for a small family and with a lower apartment for another couple or grandparent perhaps. The outdoor living here is fantastic. Multiple decks and a huge graveled area with a rock outcropping and fire pit nearby were enjoyed daily. My son wants me to buy it so we can go back whenever we want. :)

Great cottage

we loved out stay, house was roomy, did not realize you needed to go outside to stay in the downstairs room but it worked out great for our teenager. had to use the space heaters in the bedrooms. we loved the side lot with the fire pit and large rocks. we enjoyed walking in the neighborhood. will stay again

Great Location and View

We enjoyed staying at this quaint cabin. The deck and firepit were terrific. Watching the sunset with a fire and then the glow of the stars in they sky was so relaxing. Conveniently located to many of the towns in the area.

Great mountain cabin!

This was a great stay. The property is tucked in a private community, with great views, and very clean. Communication with the management company was excellent. The cabin has a great outdoor space with plenty of room for kids to explore. We really liked the outdoor firepit area. This caibn is extremely convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, and the parkway. Hope to come back!

Amazing!!

We loved staying in this quaint cabin!! Very child friendly with beautiful views! The property is gorgeous and close to everything. The outdoor fire pit was a huge hit!! Definitely plan on coming back!!

Family Vacation

Our family enjoyed this place so much. We spent the weekend here with our two small children and they absolutely adored the play room in the loft!

Very quiet and relaxing

We had a really good time! The property manager was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. The beds were comfortable and the scenery was beautiful.

Be aware that the living area is not nearly as large as it seems in pictures. The saving grace is the covered porch and open deck area. Property definitely showing some age

Nice stay

Lovely cabin, really enjoyed the fire pit. The oven broke on Thanksgiving, but the maintenance team replaced it with a convection oven. The refrigerator also wasn't cooling and the maintenance team said they would come by to check it out, but didn't show up. The house was great aside from the maintenance issues
