Only negative was the evening meal. Did not justify the price. Table service was excellent but the quality of the food was below par for the price. For example: a starter from the kid’s menu and a burger from the main menu for the same kid ended up costing £25 for the burger, due to how pricing works. ...

We had a lovely stay at the golf hotel. The front of house staff were super, friendly and efficient. The kitchen let the rest down however, lots of delays and mistakes. Our room was beautiful and the hotel had a lovely calm and welcoming atmosphere. V

Great breakfast in old hotel.
I had a pleasant stay. There are a few simple things to improve on but it is an old building and it may not always be straightforward.
