"Ardo exceeded our expectations as far as the property was concerned. The rooms were a little bare with very few toiletries, no couch, and what strived to be an industrial looking ceiling, really was the dividing concrete between storeys. The most important things were all nailed; a diverse team, every one of whom was friendly and helpful. After a 14 hour day, it was nice to be met with a no fuss check in, and a great sense of humour. "We were a party of 3 staying in two rooms...they were compact, clean and comfortable. The only downfall was the fixed window electric blind allowed exterior light of common areas in around the edges. The room door had a vinyl covering over the glass which was also not light proof. If you like a dark room to sleep you might not find this so good. "

"The property manager Sonia was brilliant. She made contact with us ensuring we knew about hours and our accommodation. We had no car, and were able to leave our bags until our room was available due to our early arrival and was equally accommodating on having to leave. Our unit was within walking distance to many things - Castle Hill, Magnetic Island Ferry, museums and restaurants. "

"The maintenance of our unit was not kept up. The patio door did not close properly, the window had screws to stop ability to open. Shutter doors to the toilet bathroom is in desparate need of clean and repair. The wall tiles in the bathroom need to have black scrubbed and bleached. The shower lever has no top plate. Water pressure is mediocre. The kitchen lounge bed area were all okay, although the blanket smelt dusty. There is no hob, but there is a combi oven, and a microwave. And the kitchen...

"Very convenient location, shops are in walking distances and close to the airport. The A/C unit in the room was quite old and struggling to reduce room temperature. The water pressure in the shower was quite low, they may need to look into it and fix. Breakfast may not be available on public holidays."

"Great location close to the Strand and a great variety of restairants and takeaway food s nearby. Safe, secure underground parking. Easy lift access to the three floors, Splacous room with balcony with partial sea view. Microwave.stove and kitchen facilites for preparing your own breakfast and light meals. Comfortable beds."

"Great pool area. Restaurant was closed while we were there, but was right next to pool and looked nice. Futon in room was only place to sit to watch tv and was very uncomfortable, but we weren't at Magnetic Island to watch tv anyway. Kitchen had full size fridge, kettle, toaster and electric frying pan and all the crockery you might need. "
