"I booked the Royal Toby as a solo traveller. I was made so welcome by the reception staff. I was immediately put at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was spacious and airy. "Great location and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room itself was ok, a bit tired and in need of a refresh, it was clean and the bed comfy. I’d say breakfast wasn’t cooked to order purely by the speed it appeared, it was standard English breakfast, though felt one rasher of bacon and one sausage was a bit of a poor show, when you generally get two of each of those items elsewhere. "The room i had booked wss not ready at the dtated 3pm. We were in hurry so said we would take a different one. The check-in was otherwise easy. Our room was modern with a king size bed, a small seating area, a fridge ironing board and tea tray. The bathroom had a big shower and was pristine. "
