A lovely family vacation

We were thoroughly impressed with this property — it was warm, luxurious, and exceptionally clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax.Just a note: the pullout couch wasn’t functional, but with the cabin being so spacious and having plenty of couches and sleeping areas, it wasn’t an issue at all. We were so comfortable that we barely wanted to leave, though downtown is just a quick 20-minute drive away.Melanie was extremely responsive and welcoming throughout our stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back — it was the perfect family getaway!

Relaxing Getaway

This was my second time staying at this beautiful mountain home. This trip was a hiking trip with two friends. We were able to get plenty of hiking in, wineries and shopping.This house is to come home to after a busy day! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning for coffee and around the outdoor fireplace in the evenings. House is fully equipped with everything we needed.We’ll be back!

Once again our home away from home didn't disappoint. This time we got to enjoy some unexpected snow and were pleased that we didn't experience any issues with power, cable, etc. As usual our communication with our host was great, we always appreciate her hospitality. Family get a way

The cabin was gorgeous and the views were beautiful. It rain on our 3rd day there but it was pleasant just to stay in and relax by the fireplaces. Kids enjoyed the lower level with game room. We will be back!!!

Fantastic Cabin

This cabin is incredible! Two king bedrooms, bunk area with four beds, four bathrooms, two family rooms and numerous deck areas perfect for multiple families and has something for everyone. Plenty of space to do your own thing and great common areas for all to gather. Location is perfect and an easy drive to Blue Ridge. Owner is very nice and responsive. Would highly recommend.

Amazing

I have zero complaints. The house was perfect and truly had everything we could have needed. The drive up wasn’t difficult or too steep at all. The beds were comfortable. It was secluded enough that we weren’t bothered by anything but still close enough to grocery stores and hikes. We saw deer a few times. Such a beautiful place with beautiful views and scenery. We really enjoyed our time here.

Perfect Fall weekend

Great weather accompanied our stay at this beautiful property. Spacious and decorated perfectly for its environment. Two king beds led us to this property and those suites were perfect. Easy on/off switches for the fireplaces made fires a breeze. Perfectly enjoyable.

Fantastic!

Absolutely wonderful and well-appointed lodge in the mountains. Everything you could need, super clean, and lots of gathering areas. We were two families with a total of 5 kids 10 & under, and they had plenty of room to spread out and stay out if our hair. :)

Great cabin

My family had a great time at this cabin. It had plenty of space, was nicely furnished and decorated and had everything we needed. The kids really enjoyed the game room and also the outdoor seating and fireplace. It was easy to get to and the roads were all paved.

Blueridge Weekend Away

Cabin was perfect for a weekend away in Blueridge, close to attractions etc and easy to find. The cabin and view was great but it was the unexpected extras that make this cabin stand out - driving console in the basement (kids loved!), coffee pods in the kitchen etc. Would recommend and will likely return

Absolutely beautiful!

We loved our stay at this house. We visit BR twice a year, and a few things are important to us - view, "chill out" space, and a good walking area. This house has all of that - on a scale of 1-10, this is a 10 in every area. You can walk down the mountain and back up to the very top for a great hike. It is a bit from downtown, but it is worth it for the quiet and gated neighborhood. We loved the extras - shampoo in the showers, coffee pods ready to go, yoga mats...just a great spot. Highly recommend! And the drive is steep in a couple of spots, but a Volkswagen Taos handled it just fine - no need for a four-wheel drive.
