  • Welcome to Vistas at Trout Lake!

    Vistas at Trout Lake is a 3BR/3.5BA new construction townhome tucked away in the Blue Ridge mountains in the Blowing Rock area. Located around the corner from Trout Lake and a mile from Moses Cone, guests can enjoy miles of horseback riding and hiking trails. Two miles away is downtown quaint Blowing Rock, with a community playground, many delicious restaurants, and unique local shops. A few other favorite attractions close by are the Tanger Outlets which are 3 miles away, Appalachian Ski Mountain is 5 miles away, with skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating, and Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park and High Gravity Adventures Zip Line and Aerial Park are both 6 miles away.

    This modern rustic getaway boasts an open concept living area including vaulted ceilings with warm tongue-in-groove details, a stone fireplace with gas logs, ample windows overlooking the mountain views, and a smart HDTV. The spacious kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and everything you need to cook gourmet meals. There is seating for 4 at the kitchen bar and 6 at the dining table. Outside on the covered porch, there is additional outdoor dining, and lounge seating surrounding a cozy fire table where guests can take in the beautiful views of the High Country. The lower level also includes a spacious quiet deck with lounge chairs and a relaxing porch swing.

    Sleeping arrangements are as follows. Sleeps 6 comfortably.

    -King Master room on main level, private bathroom with walk-in shower- sleeps 2
    -King room on lower level, private bathroom with walk-in shower- sleeps 2
    -Queen room on lower level, private bathroom with combo tub and shower- sleeps 2

    The game den on the upper level also has a foosball table coffee table and board games for guests of all ages to enjoy. The room also includes a queen size sleeper sofa. This home is pet-friendly and one dog, 60 pound limit, may be added to your reservation. Additional fees will apply. There is parking for 2 vehicles. Because this is a townhome with wonderful neighbors, be courteous about the noise level outside on the two decks. Access to this home is level, with no steps leading to the entrance.

Lovely home near Blowing Rock

We loved our stay in this lovely home. The house has a beautiful view of mountains from the living room/deck which I don’t think the pictures/description give the home credit for. The beds are very comfortable and the home is well cared for. Will stay here again!

Better than expected. Felt like a brand new house. Most incredible unobstructed views from the massive back porches looking over the forest. Very spacious and just minutes from downtown Blowing Rock.

Great location; nice place

Townhome is nicely furnished and comfortable. Beautiful view and convenient to both Blowing Rock and Boone. No stair entry is a luxury! Only downside is the very limited parking ... not easy to have guests visit. Otherwise, 5-stars!

enjoyed having our dog w/us. safe area. beautifully appointed townhouse. decks and views were unbelievable. kitchen well equipped. loved the jigsaw puzzle and games. only negative was that the coffee pot was really dirty and full of old grounds, but I cleaned that out. just remind the cleaning staff. thx, we will probably be back soon.

Great Blowing Rock Getaway!

This townhome was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for our family over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was very close to the town of Blowing Rock and to a nice walking trail around Trout Lake. I would not recommend this location however for bringing your dog only because the outside area for dog use is very limited. Otherwise, everything was really very nice!

Modern & Cozy, Perfect Location

I think this was a new listing when we booked because there weren't any reviews so we took a chance - and we are so glad we did! The townhouse looked brand new and immaculate. It was the perfect size for our two small families and we loved that there were two king bedrooms, each with its own connected bathroom. Beds and sofas were all super comfy. The location was also perfect - only 5 minutes to downtown Blowing Rock, easy access to restaurants and shops. Our main activity for the weekend was skiing at Appalachian, and that was only a 12 minute drive. Balcony overlooks a sunset view. Easy check-in process and easy communication with host company (they have a phone # you can call until 11pm). We couldn't have picked a better place!
