8/10
We (spouse, several family members and friends) were in Bloomington for our son's wedding and needed space for 10. This house fit the bill. The area is beautiful and quiet; a nice retreat after all of the wedding festivities. House is older and looks like it has had additions/renovations along the way. It fit our needs for the long weekend.Suggestions: if you allow up to 10 people to stay overnight, provide enough place settings for 10 people. Please do something about the lighting in the kitchen-it felt like a cave and I had to use a flashlight to check whether meat was done. (The light under the microwave doesn't work and there is no under-counter lighting.) The special tub was more a hindrance than a benefit. No one wanted to use it-young or old (we had 1 less than 2 years and one well into her 90s.)Also, not a fan of coming into a rental and having to unload someone else's dishes/not a fan of having to wash/dry towels before we could leave. No problem starting a load of towels/dishes but if you charge a cleaning fee, the cleaning person should be taking care of unloading/washing/drying.The "expert trail" doesn't seem to be a trail at all; but then, we weren't sure where it was. Maybe a little explanation as to where to look. The outside of the house could use a clean up. A broken pick-axe, old chair, and a few other things were just sitting out in the area near the house. It really detracts from the natural beauty.Would I stay again? Maybe? Probably?
