Very Comfortable, Clean and Quiet

The house we stayed in met a larger group needs. It’s located away from busy traffic but close to town. The host was amazing responding promptly and answering questions as needed.

Family fun

We live in California and have a very large extended family in McLean County. The four bedrooms made traveling with toddlers much more enjoyable. We were able to visit family, and they were able to visit us.

Home away from home 🏡

Lovely home on a large lot with multiple outdoor spaces. Check in/out was a breeze. Property owner called shortly after we arrived to give us the lay of the land and answer any questions we had and was easy to reach as needed during our stay. This was our first time renting a home instead of using a hotel and we loved it!

Nice area. Lovely house. I would recommend this place to a large group.

Stayed here for around a week. Check in was super easy, house was clean and inviting. Only issue my group had was deciding who got the master bedroom, because it was so nice. The living room/kitchen area was perfect for playing boardgames with our group. Also, there was plenty of parking space.

Perfect Homes for Visiting Family at Westminster

A perfect place for small and medium sized family gatherings. Our extended family of three couples stayed at this wonderful home over Thanksgiving, using it as a base to visit elderly relatives living at the Westminster Village retirement community in Bloomington (8 minutes away). The layout was perfect, and the younger children in our group loved the large yard area for football and games. The kitchen is clean and very well equipped, and the hosts were extremely accommodating and available for questions. We enjoyed our stay so much, we booked it again for Christmas!

A perfect location

What a great property. From the amazing hospitality from the property manager to the beautiful property. This place has it all. It is a short drive to downtown ISU and all of the local corporate areas. I have friends and family who stay at ISU. This will now be my preferred place to stay. Very quite with a homey vibe. I was able to use my own grill and have just the right amount of space for the people that were staying. I can’t wait to come back.

Gorgeous home!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here! It's an absolutely GORGEOUS home and the master bedroom/bath? Absolutely speechless. It was very clean and the owner was so sweet, she even baked us muffins which were absolutely delicious! Had the necessities as far as linens/soaps/ first aide kit etc in case you needed anything. Super close to major venues but far enough outside of town to enjoy the peace and quiet. Things I would recommend/note though, if you or any of your party are smokers/vapers there is absolutely no smoking/vaping in the house. My guests were all smokers and they complained alot about going out to satisfy their habits. I'm not a smoker/vaper myself, so I actually appreciated and preferred no smoking being allowed because it gives me a headache so it's just a personal decision. Also, I would recommend bringing your own trash bags if your staying for more than a day or two, there were only grocery sized bags in the cans which filled rather quickly with 4 adults and had to be emptied often. Also be prepared to sort your trash between burnable/not burnable as they burn papers/cardboard etc which I think is a great idea! My guests however couldn't follow that so I personally opted to just throw the trash away at the gas station dumpster across the street as an alternative option. Would DEFINATELY stay here again! Completely worth the price for our 4 night stay :)

Listing was accurate. House was clean and quiet. There is frisbee golf behind the house and cornhole for setting up. Lots of room outside for playing and running around. Trash situation was a little odd for us city people - owner asks us to sort trash into Burnable/non-burnable. But then outside trash cans are labelled recyclable/non-recyclable. We probably didn't do it right, as these are not the same categories. The master bed was very soft - beware if you like a firmer bed. We all slept well. Would recommend and may stay here again when we visit family next time.

Wonderfully responsive hosts

This was our second stay at this home in the past three months. It is ideally located for visiting relatives at the nearby Westminster Retirement Village (8min away). On this occasion, we encountered severe winter weather with blizzard conditions and subzero temperatures. The hosts were in contact with our group on a daily basis, providing additional space heaters, blankets/quilts, snow shovels, and tips to deal with the weather. They also arranged a snow plowing service for the driveway. The house was clean, warm, and a great place to be for the Christmas holiday weekend. We will definitely use it again for our family gatherings.

Amazing Host and Location

Absolutely amazing host. From The amazing service to the beautiful location, this listing has it all. A beautiful backyard to embrace and a cozy home feeling inside. Being so close to downtown normal and all of the major corporations, this house offers it all. I highly recommend booking any family or single person stay. Thank you for a great experience.
