Rustic 1940's Appalachian Summer Cabin w/hot tub - Black Mountain

  • At Black Mountain Reverie Cabin our atmosphere is reminiscent of times past, when life moved a bit more slowly. For almost a century, this cabin has been a haven for family memories and adventures. You won't find any WiFi or Alexa here, our cabin is focused on disconnecting from daily life and spending some time together... Just like the good ol' days! We offer a small collection of vinyl records and VHS tapes to keep you entertained, even a Nintendo and some board games if you are up for a challenge. We are located just 1 mile from downtown Black Mountain, so getting to the good stuff is easy! This cabin is very private while still being conveniently located. Local hiking trails are also about 1 mile from our cabin but there is plenty of space and trails to stretch your legs right outside our door. Relax and take in some mountain views in our 3-person hot tub

    We do not allow children under the age of 13

    Guests who violate our NO PETS policy will be charged a minimum $500 cleaning fee

Absolutely adorable rustic cabin. Reminded me of my childhood times at my grandmothers but had all the beautiful modern conveniences. Gorgeous view of the mountains from the hot tub. Close enough to walk to town or a quick drive. We hope to make it back soon! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. Highlights were the hot tub, sunrise and mountain views, privacy and convenient location to town. The cookies and wine were a sweet surprise.

Could not have loved this cozy cabin more. Great location, in a neighborhood near to the downtown but still very much felt like you were in nature with pretty mountain views. It was very clean. The screened in porch was so nice to spend time on and had fun sitting in the hot tub. I would love to return to this cabin anytime I am in Black Mountain!

Great cabin that felt private while still being close to town. Enjoyed the book with the history of the cabin and the area. The hot tub and front porch were amazing. Will definitely stay here again soon.

The cabin was very cozy for the two of us. It is very close to downtown Black Mountain which makes it an ideal location. We both really enjoyed the fireplace!!!

Gorgeous location, easy access and just as advertised and better! Hot tub super relaxing as is the whole vibe of the property with sitting areas and paths and wildlife mature trees and great eastern views of the mountains and sunrises! Definitely recommend

Great getaway

It was wonderful from the time me and the wife got there. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed how close it was to the town and the beautiful scenery around the cabin. Definitely a place to go to see and visit if you want that perfect getaway.

Weekend Getaway

Incredible spot to spend a weekend away. Met or exceeded expectations in all ways and really enjoyed the hot tub and screened in porch to relax! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to spend a weekend away. Short drive to Black Mountain and Asheville downtown as well.

This cabin is great. Very cozy and rustic yet clean and comfortable. The host gave great instructions and was responsive. The town of Black Mountain had plenty to offer and is just a 2-3 minute drive or 17-20 minute walk away. Despite being that close, the cabin is at the edge of town and has a remote feel to it.It was nice to see that the owner has retained some of the old height measuring planks from the family that used to own this place.

What a fantastic, unique cabin about a mile from downtown Black Mountain. we had such a nice time and really hope we can return to further explore this area. The cabin had everything we could want and Seth made us feel very welcomed!
