Granny's Hidden Cottage by Lake DeGray, AR

Like going to visit Granny, this adorable, well-appointed retreat sits in 3 private acres surrounded by woods. Electric fireplace, 2 TV's, washer/dryer, new 5-burner electric stove/oven, microwave, & side by side fridge/freezer, with dining area for 8. Charcoal grill on the partially-covered back patio also has outdoor seating for 8. Firepit for s'mores. Expansive front deck. 2 bedrooms, a loft & pullout sofa sleeps 8 total. 1 mile to Lake DeGray, 5 miles to Arkadelphia, 15 miles to Hot Springs. Cuddle up in this comfortable abode with central heat & air. Bring an ear of corn to put on the squirrel feeder in front, relax in 1 of the rockers on the big deck & enjoy watching the squirrels while they watch you! The bird feeders in front & in back provide additional entertainment. Also enjoy the sounds of the stream that runs in Spring, close to the front deck. The loft has its own small balcony with an overview of the whole backyard.
As this property is located only 1 mile to Lake Degray State Park and Marina we want you to know we do allow you to park your boat here during your stay. The Iron Mountain Lodge & Marina on Degray Lake is available for launching your boat daily.
Dollar General is located less than 1 miles away.
Arkdaphila is located 15 miles away.
Downtown Hot Springs is located 15 miles away.
Closest Lake Hamilton boat launch is at Hulsey Fish Hatchery Ramp off Hwy 290.
If you are interested in watercraft rentals Lake Degray State Park and Marina does offer rentals.

I hadn’t seen my brothers and sister and my father in several years and we were going to opt for a hotel room and then I started thinking maybe we should get a rental so we can have somewhere to hang out together and it was the best decision ever and we made the best choice ever the hostess and host were very accommodating, even wanted to stay extra nights, and they accommodated us with that as they were able to Great prices and about the price of staying in a hotel but yet so much more I will stay again and my dad will stay again when he comes back into town. This is where we will always stay and get together at thank you guys so much.

This place is perfect! My husband came for a fishing trip so the kids and I tagged along. Very comfortable place. We were not far from hot springs. We enjoyed Mid-America Science museum, good food in hot springs. Then drove to Alpine campground they have a sandbar and playground plus bathrooms. There is a Dollar General near this house and gas station. We will definitely be back. Perfectly cozy, very clean, our hosts responded very promptly! Oh and there’s a tire swing and huge yard! Book this place!

The was just as the photos provided. The location was awesome with not another property in direct sight. The amenities were adequate for all we needed. We would definitely rent it again.
