Looking to get away? Some stress relief? Memory-making fun? Lazy Pines Hideaway is your answer!

Four seasons of beauty beckon your heart to remember what is really important in this life. In the warmth of summer, do as much swimming, fishing, ATVing, and marshmallow roasting as you desire....or quiet reading, snuggling at the bonfire, or listening to the evening loons.....or even nothing at all! In the brisk of winter, enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling, ice skating, snow shoeing or cuddling up with hot chocolate and reminiscing with those you love.

Located in the pines, North of Hibbing and Grand Rapids in Itasca county, on Round Lake, the comfortable accommodations in this cozy cabin will have you feeling right at home. Bedroom #1 has a double bed. Bedroom #2 has a set of double bunks, and a twin bed with a trundle. In the den area, another double bed. The cabin has bedding/linens, towels, dishes, pots and pans, and pantry items. A delightful COFFEE bar with a large selection of coffees, flavored syrups, and hot chocolate.The kitchen is equipped with full-sized new stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, and a good variety of items needed for cooking. Bring your groceries and you are set!

We want to share this slice of heaven and memory-making place with people who are looking for that quintessential cabin experience.

You will find firewood for your use and a s'mores starter pack! We have a pedal boat, a 14 ft aluminum boat with a trolling motor, and paddle board available for your use generally June-September. There is a selection of games, both indoor ( board games, puzzles) and outdoor ( Cornhole, horseshoes, croquet, yard Jenga) for your enjoyment. A popcorn machine for those movie nights. AND...... As if the gorgeous view of the lake wasn't enough, the sandy bottom and clarity of water make this an excellent spot for swimming and fishing!!!!

In this area of majestic beauty, you will find lots to do! There are trails of many modes ( foot, ATV, snowmobile) in the vicinity. Scenic State Park and George Washington Forest are nearby. A nice public access sits directly across the cabin on Round Lake, bring your boat, pull up to the dock, and enjoy a stay at the lake!

This is nature at its finest! At the cabin, you may encounter deer, squirrels, rabbits, and the occasional black bear wandering. The loons will sing in the evening. It's almost magical! There is not much for "city lights", but to lay on the dock and watch the stars is priceless!

Because we love our cabin and our neighbors, please help us keep the serenity of this place intact so that we may continue to share with others.

We had such a great time. The hosts were very kind and had thought of everything. The boat is great, the wi-fi was really fast (my kids loved this), the cabin had everything, and the fishing was really good. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Family Vacation

This cabin is clean, very well stocked for cooking your own meals, and comfortable beds with plenty of space for everyone. We had one day of great weather and the teens really enjoyed the swimming platform. The rest of our stay we had cold, rainy weather so thankfully we brought games and there were movies. Grand Rapids is about 40 min away, but we didn't head to town with plenty to do at the cabin. The water was clean and the bottom is sandy; not a hard sand but not mucky feeling. Smaller kids would enjoy the zero entry into the water and gradual deepening without any rocks. The little beach area is enough to enter the water but not necessarily build sand castles. The teens really loved using the paddleboard and the pedal boat. The aluminum fishing boat with the trolling motor was a hit and each time they went out in either AM and PM they caught fish and had a great time. We were bummed our weather situation didn't cooperate, so we decided this cabin would definitely be on the top of our list to return to!

Great Getaway

We had a wedding to attend on the other side of the lake, so this location was perfect for our stay. It was my adult daughter, myself and our dog, Moo. It was clean, running indoor water (which is always a plus!) and a great yard. It had everything you could have needed when staying up north at a cabin. The view of the lake was absolutely gorgeous! We spent time on the dock and by the fire ring. There is an outdoor kennel for dogs and bags for clean up as well. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning units in the rooms that needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance and gadget needed and the coffee station was a great thing to wake up to in the morning! Will definitely stay again and refer family!

Up North Getaway Everyone Needs!

Everything about our stay here was perfect. The lake was exceptionally clean and clear water. The beach was perfect for our little one and the water has no weeds and was perfect for swimming. The cabin was recently renovated and made the stay feel more like home. Owners were quick with responses on anything we needed. Fishing on the lake was excellent! Felt like we had the whole lake shore to ourselves. Nightly fires with the wood provided were awesome! We heard a pack of 8 wolves howling at the moon one night so we had to come in early as the were maybe 100yds away. Boat and motor were just as advertised. Overall 10/10. We will be staying here again.

Lovely cabin on a beautiful lake

We had a great time at this cabin on Round Lake in Itasca county! The kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor space were very well stocked, and there are two convenience stores about 10 minutes north or south that had essentials and more. We got a few more gallons of drinking water for the 4 of us as the well water was highly mineralized and turned yellow after sitting out, but the hosts also provided water. The lake is beautiful - very calm and crystal clear! We also saw and heard many loons, including one doing the “water dance” and a couple teaching their juvenile how to fish just off the dock! We were impressed with how quiet the neighbors all were even on a weekend in the late summer. There’s AC but we didn’t need it as the cabin is well-shaded and the lake was perfect for cooling off. We would happily stay again!

Home Away From Home

We had the best time at Lazy Pines Hideaway! The cabin is so cute and cozy, really makes you feel at home away from home. It had everything we could imagine and more! We spent the days swimming to the raft, fishing off the dock, and endless paddleboat rides! We loved trying the paddleboard for our first time, the kids couldnt get enough! We played yard games like bean bags, ladder golf, and horseshoes! We spent our nights by the bonfire, playing board games, and watching family movies with the bonus popcorn machine! We also brought our pup who had just as much fun as we did! We explored Scenic State Park which was only a 20 minute drive away! We certainly recommend staying here and will most likely be back in the near future!

Family Vacation

Was absolutely Amazing. The cabin has everything you need. Only thing I would change is the Neighbor had 3 dogs that liked to come bark at us a poop in the yard. And chased our puppy. But every thing else was perfect from sunset to sun down we definitely are thinking of coming back with our family. Thank you for the great experience.
