Amazing Mountain View & Cabin Retreat - Big Canoe

  • Amazing mountain cabin located in Big Canoe Community! Gated security welcomes you to your mountain retreat filled with fun activities such as golf, fishing, trails, boating, kayaking, swimming, tennis, lakes and more! The cabin also offer fun activities such as fire places, pool table, bar, bar seating, wine cellar, TVs, Outdoor TV, bluetooth speakers, retro arcade games, BBQ and three patio areas all over looking the mountains for an amazing view. With 6 bedrooms (each with an amazing view one of them being an in law Suite) with their own private bathrooms makes this a perfect vacation retreat from any large family.

    Cabin is fully equipped with an automatic generator to power the whole cabin if needed. Big Canoe community/vacation area does not allow motorcycles, trailers or bicycling with in the gates. Driveway can fit 2 cars in the garage and an additional 3-4 cars on the drive way depending on car size. Note that Golf, Swimming Pools, Tennis and Boat rentals have a daily rate for use. The house was great. Mountains from the porches were beautiful. Bathrooms were very nice, plentiful. Rooms were spacious. Only thing I could say that could have been better was bunkbeds in a couple of the rooms. Thanks so much for the great place for our family to gather at Christmas .

The house was a fantastic space for multiple families to gather. We had three separate families from three different states come together, and we all fit perfectly. The house was clean and comfortable, with amazing views and access to everything Big Canoe has to offer. We would love to book it again!

A sweet reunion

It was the perfect place for a family reunion. The house had something for everyone and space for all! The house is even better than the photos, and it is fully equipped, ready for a great stay. We rented two houses, but this one was nicer and cost less.

All rooms are very large including the bathrooms. The kitchen has everything anyone could possibly need. The view is fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the stay. Would we rent it again for a large gathering? YES. ABSOLUTELY

Perfect House

This was the perfect house for a large family group! There were places to have fun and be loud, spots to be cozy and enjoy the outdoors, and areas the family could be together and watch a movie. Would for sure stay again.

Staying with extended family for an out of town wedding. Great property, every bedroom had its own bathroom and plenty of space for everyone to spread out. All with beautiful views!

Annual Family Mountain Trip

We had a wonderful time at this absolutely gorgeous cabin. The cabin was very spacious for our large gathering. The whole cabin was well stocked from linens, blankets, kitchen etc.. The owner was excellent to work with ,very easy check in and out.

Our extended family just returned from our annual summer weekend together and this was our first time at Big Canoe. This house is listed as a"cabin" but it is much more like staying in a luxury hotel. It is huge with more than enough space for all 12 of us (seniors to toddlers) and loads of thoughtful details. Fluffy towels, televisions scattered throughout, comfortable beds and the most amazing mountain view. The Beach Club is overloaded with fun with both adults and children. We had a lovely weekend and hope to return.

Family and Friend Sprimg break trip!

We had the BEST time here!! We had 4 families with ages ranging from 2 to 38 and never once felt crowded. Everything we could ever need was supplied at the house. Highly reccomend this house for your stay! 5 stars all around!!!!

Great Property!

This is the second time we've booked this property for a yearly golf trip with a group of 8 and hopefully we'll continue doing so. The house has everything you would need and the communication with the host is fantastic! Would definitely recommend!

Something Great for Everyone

Blackbeard is a beautiful home that accommodated our extended family of 10 perfectly! Super comfy bedding, quality furnishings and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and the patios. Hassan was very responsive to all our questions as well.

Long weekend for daughters wedding

This property is amazing!! So much room and plenty of amenities onsite. The porches are so relaxing and I am already wanting to go back!! Kitchen is well stocked and everything was just as described! If you are on the fence about renting this, run and do it now!! Beautiful place and we definitely be back !!

Everything we expected and more!

We had our entire family of 14 stay at Black Bear Ridge. The house was beautiful, incredibly clean and beyond well stocked. The owner had an extremely organized booklet with instructions and directions for everything. He was exceptionally communicative on everything. Big Canoe was fun for all of us from ages 2 to 56! I highly recommend this cabin- it made what could be a hectic large family vacation so easy and enjoyable! Thanks Hassan!
