Viatges a Bettws

Great value and comfortable 2 night stay. Fab shower, blackout blind & curtains, friendly & helpful staff. Will definitely stay again when in the area

We stayed for two nights & the staff were all lovely and very helpful. We returned wanting food one night not realising that the restaurant was closed but the lady on reception was very helpful supporting to order a food delivery then providing plates and allowing us to eat in the cosy restaurant. The room we had was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. They were

Staff only on site between 9&5. Good luck if you arrive early or late. Room did not have drinkable water. Had to go to first floor for drinking water Bathroom had not a single hook for towels or toiletries

Extremely noisy at night as it is near the University Halls of Residence. Shouting and screaming outside the window until gone 4 am. The property should advise bringing, or provide, earplugs. There were items left in the fridge from a previous occupant and the shower was not adequately cleaned. The cupboard under the sink was not properly on its hinges and stopped the fridge door from closing. The property did not supply tea towels, washing-up liquid or cleaning cloths, which is unusual for a self catering apartment. Check out was 11am so I was very concerned that the housekeepers let themselves into my room without knocking at 9.53. I was in bed. I might have been in the middle of a shower. I would not normally put all this in a review, but I raised these issues in an email to the property to which I have not received the courtesy of a reply.

The overall experience was splendid. However, I was disappointed by how worn the carpets were. The staff was very helpful when I had trouble with my room.
