"This was a lovely hotel with friendly & helpful staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable with lots of hot water, towels & toiletries although no hand soap! However whilst there, I hurt my leg & had to go for medical help, as I was leaving the building slowly the automatic door closed on me grazing my arm. The receptionist ran to force the doors back but I was shaken & a small child or elderly person could be seriously hurt. "

"The entrance and lobby at this hotel are simply gorgeous, a real attention to detail makes this a welcoming environment. The rooms are spacious and clean, and although the balconies are small, they do provide a lovely view. The solarium area and sunbathing spaces are ample and both pools were refreshing. The pool bar has lots of options and a nice food menu. Overall, having stayed in 5 or 6 hotels in the vicinity, Hotel Alay has proved to be my favourite and actually great value for money...

"The property was of a very high standard, it was very very clean, communication with owner very good. I had a small problem with bathroom door, the domestic assistant helped me and contacted owner who had problem sorted immediately. We had a huge balcony with table and chairs and two sun loungers. "If you’re on a budget, you’ll struggle to find better value or a better location in Benalmadena. These self-contained little apartments will sleep three at a push, and was a good base for me on my own. Air conditioning was great, WiFi steady and reliable.
