HUGE 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Penthouse Condo at Schuss Mountain

The BEST Location at all of Shanty Creek. Gorgeous year-round condo for a family with up to 5 kids. Bright, sunny, 1200 Sq. Foot unit with view of hill and golf course. Right in the middle of it all! Full kitchen, breakfast bar as well as a dining room. Beautiful natural fireplace, cozy sitting area, and all the fixings for a fabulous stay! Large Master Bedroom with Queen bed, adjoining bath with Jacuzzi tub, lots of closet space, and private deck. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with 2 twins and 1 full bed, also has a deck, vanity, and large closets. The living room has pull out sofa for one more sleeper. 8 guests max. 4 adults or 2 adults and up to 5 kids suggested.
Early check-in and late checkout, if available, and confirmed on the day of check-in. Extra cleaning protocols are taking longer than usual and are making early check-ins more difficult to accommodate. We hope you understand.
Our property cannot be booked further than 6 months in advance.
This Penthouse unit is on the top floor of a three story building with an outside covered stairwell. It is not handicapped accessible. No pets or service animals of any kind.

Great for Torch Lake visit

Laura was very proactive in anticipating our needs and helping us plug in to the process to make it seamless and convenient. Responsiveness in communications was amazing, though she was so thorough, not much left to inquire on. Very easy to unwind and settle in after a day of adventure. We'll be back!

Great!

The condo is spacious, and had everything we needed. The mattresses were very comfortable! The indoor pool was nice and this building was the closest, which was awesome! This is a great place to stay if you want to go check out the area lakes!

Perfect Penthouse

The condo was exactly as described, and the amenities were wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked, and the condo was extremely clean. There were lots of extra touches… pool towels, shower products, board games, and more. Just a short walk across the parking lot and you’re at the pool. Ivan’s and the blue lift.

Always a memorable time

We love the condo and always appreciate how stocked it is with everything you might need. We enjoy the staying in and playing games and sitting around the fire just as much as the experience of the grounds and all it has to offer.

Perfect condo for a family ski trip!

This condo was so cozy and had everything you need for a family ski trip. Easy walking distance to the pink and blue lift. Walking distance to the pool and Ivan’s. This condo had everything we needed all you need to bring is your toothbrush and toothpaste. You have a beautiful view of the slopes and the grill is in a covered porch. We were there and it was -7 and with the fireplace and wood they provide it was warm. Lots of board games the kids loved to play. The beds were very comfortable!! Will definitely rebook next year.

Excellent Family Ski Vacation

Great accommodations and host! Plenty of space and very close to ski hill, pool, and amenities. Great host - appreciated the proactive communication reaching out in advance of our trip offering to let us check in early in advance of an incoming snowstorm. Will definitely book again!

Great Summer Getaway

My family has been coming to Shanty Creek yearly for 35+years, we have a timeshare unit on the Lakeview side that our other half of the family stayed in. This was our first time staying on the Schuss property, it was pretty quite, almost a deserted feel besides the golfing side, but the condo was in great condition and had plenty of amenities. The current pictures must have been from awhile ago, they now have a covered balcony and large dinning table which were both a plus. We plan to come back in the winter sometime to experience the ski atmosphere. Thank you for providing a great unit and wonderful experience for my family!

Great summer stay!

We had a great stay at Schuss. It was the perfect "home" for us as we explored the region. Our family of 5 (3 teens) found the space was perfectly sized for us. It was great having 2 full bathrooms and well-sized bedrooms. Beds were comfy. Not everyone will love the bright mornings thanks to the huge sunlights in the bedrooms, but it sure helped us get an early start for hiking at Jordan Valley. ;) We were here when temps were in the 90s but the AC worked great. We enjoyed using the pools at Lakeview (amazing view but not as clean) and across the street at Schuss Village (hot tub!) The condo balconies were a great feature, especially to enjoy sunset over the ski hill. My husband and I wandered the trails around the ski hill and had a wonderful time (tough incline but amazing views!)

Perfect for our ski weekend!

This is the best condo at Schuss, hands down. Ski in-out. Spacious corner unit with vaulted ceiling. Comfortable beds and furniture. All amenities you'll need. Even a washer-dryer unit. We'll be back!

Right at home

Laura made it as easy as it possibly could to check in and out. The condo was fully furnished and had plenty of room for our group of 7! The multiple balconies were so much fun. We will definitely be staying here again!

Michigan vacation

The property was in very good shape and the location was excellent. Very close to excellent golf courses and close enough to Traverse City, MI. Host was very communicative. Had a great time. Highly recommend.
