Built in 1965 using hand-carved Douglas fir logs, this cabin, set on a half-acre wooded lot, is furnished with custom, one-of-a-kind log furniture - a terrific option for a couple or a solo angler in search of a private respite. Inside, discover a surprisingly open layout with an oversized, custom basalt rock gas fireplace, a well-equipped, full kitchen, a dining area with a table with space for eight, and a living area with rough-hewn log furniture and a 50" smart TV for streaming your favorite channels.

Outside, fire up your gas grill and enjoy a summertime cookout while osprey and eagles soar overhead, ducks swim by on the lake, and curious deer wander into the yard. If you want to cast a line, Trail’s End Lake is considered by many to be one of the finest bass and trout-fishing lakes around! Head out on the water from your private dock or the nearby community boat launch, take a refreshing swim, or just stay close to home and relax with a good book on lazy afternoons. There is also a firepit in the yard to roast marshmallows or cook up those trout you just caught.

Additional features and amenities at this cabin include a private and shaded hot tub, complimentary internet access, puzzles and games, and a washer/dryer to help you stay on top of your laundry during your stay.

Streaming TV services require guest accounts to access.
A single-person kayak is available for guest use.
Please note that this cabin is not suitable for children.
Guests have access to a paddleboat.
This is a no bank/low bank waterline property.
This lake only allows electric motors.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles.

Dock details: The community boat launch nearby is for trailered boats, but small craft may launch from the private dock/waterfront of the cabin.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
