Bowerbird Cottage Studio Apartment - Binna Burra Bushwalks & Tea House nearby

The Binna Burra walking tracks of Lamington National Park are a short drive from the property. Abundant birdlife and wallabies on the property. Quiet, rural area great for birdwatching, stargazing and spotting fireflies in the early evening during Spring.

Queen Bed and kitchenette in main living space. Small bedroom with Single Bed plus Set of Bunks located off main living ideal for families. Single fold up bed can also be set up on request in the main living space.

Kitchenette includes toaster, kettle, fridge freezer, convection microwave and plug in hotplate. Free high speed unlimited Wi-Fi internet. Wall mounted TV with Chromecast to stream from your device plus additional smaller free to air TV in a nook around the corner with bar table and chairs.

The outdoor area includes a washing machine and clothesline plus a BBQ with utensils and outdoor table setting. In the garden there is a fire pit and garden deck ideal for birdwatching and stargazing. Firewood is provided.

The apartment is tucked into the side of a hill on the ground floor of our 3 storey home with views across farmland to northern Gold Coast and Bay Islands. It has its own Undercover Parking with private driveway and entrance.

Electric heating is provided for winter months and in summer it stays naturally cool indoors without the need for air conditioning. During summer you are welcome to use the in ground swimming pool in the garden.

Send a message if you have contract work in the area and would like to book longer term stays as we may be able to accommodate your needs.
Beechmont Estate, Binna Burra Teahouse, Groom's Cottage Bushwalker's Bar and Flying Bean Cafe are all highly recommended as dining options during your stay and are within a short drive. Canungra township is a 25 minute drive.

Beautiful and thoughtfully set out accommodation in a peaceful area with nothing around. Some very lovely additions to make it very relaxing such as tea pot and nice cups, fire pit with marshmallows and wood and outdoor sitting with a view. We loved the walks at Binna Burra just down the road. Would recommend taking your own food as there isn't much close.

Perfect seclusion

You have done an amazing job with the space. We wanted a short break where we could disconnect and rest as a base for bush walks. It did the job perfectly. Our kids loved the fire pit and the garden. The swing chair and viewing deck were so relaxing. Thanks for the perfect break!

A Perfect Bower

Lovely getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bowerbird! The studio was really cozy and well quipped with everything you need for a couple of nights. The property is amazing with a huge backyard and beautiful sitting spaces outside. Its perfect if you’re looking for a secluded staycation!

If you’d like to drop out for a few days this is the place. Donna has made the apartment very comfortable and you don’t need to worry about bringing any appliances. Even little thoughtful items like chocolates, chips , crackers , coffee and different teas to name a few.. Beds comfortable and amenities are fresh and clean. Close to all your walking tracks . Fox cafe and Binna Birra lodge restaurant won’t disappoint. Loved the pool and outdoor area. Little wallabies and plenty of birds to hear and see.

Lovely little cottage with beautiful views. Pleasantly surprised to be surrounded by wildlife. We all enjoyed the comfortable accommodation. The cottage is clean and elegantly decorated and easy to enter. The only issue is the small kitchen space and the tiny sink which is not ideal for cleaning after your own cooking.
