  • Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 2 bedroom/2 bath cabin retreat. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed, while the upper large room upstairs is furnished with a queen-sized bed, with plenty of room for children to play or sleep in comfort cot/futon/sleeper. The spacious living room is furnished with a sofa this beautiful multi-level home sleeps up to 6. Amenities include high-speed internet, washer/dryer, full kitchen, fenced parking , private green wooded area. Within walking distance to public boat ramp. The kitchen is perfect for dining as it is equipped with a stove and a full refrigerator. The property is just minutes away from all of best attractions, and guests are sure to enjoy having the whole home to themselves. A short distance from U.S. Route 101 which follows the Sol Duc River for many miles through Olympic National Forest and the Sol Duc Valley to the vicinity of Forks. The Olympic Peninsula is home to temperate rain forests, including the Hoh, Queets Rain Forest, and Quinault. Rain forest vegetation is concentrated primarily in the western part of the peninsula. Bring you hiking gear and/or bicycle(s) as you can enter with ease the Olympic Discovery Trail , just off US 101. GET OUTSIDE!
    The Olympic Peninsula is Washington State’s premier destination for non-motorized touring, filled with views of snow capped peaks, ocean vistas, fast flowing rivers and pristine lakes, and everywhere the majestic forests of the Pacific Northwest.

We stayed here with our kids. They loved sleeping in the loft and making s’mores at the fire pit after dinner. The cabin was very clean, kitchen had all amenities and the whirlpool tub was much needed after long hikes in the park!

Quiet, peaceful base for exploring Olympic NP

Quiet, peaceful stay right on the river (but no access to the river). It was the perfect place for exploring this side of Olympic NP. We loved sitting on the back deck and watching the river in the evenings. Communication with owner was excellent. Had everything we needed to cook meals and do laundry.

Great place!

We did a lot of exploring at nearby beaches and Olympic Nat’l Park. Coming back to a backyard fire pit and the sight and sounds of the river was perfect! Our host was very responsive and offered great recommendations for nearby adventures. We would definitely come back.

Great Cottage

Clean with everything one would need. Great back yard with a deck, tables, fire pit and soothing stream. Short drive to town, park entrance and ocean. Wish there was two bathrooms for the four of us, but knew that before renting and made it work. Would stay there again.

Fantastic, comfortable stay

Get Away at Sol Duc was fantastic! We have stayed at many VRBOs, and this house was pristine clean and extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room for my family of six. Pura was wonderful to communicate with and she thought of many little things around the house to make the stay perfect. The location is right next to a sweet little river and the property is fenced in and secure. The house is located perfectly for exploring Olympic NP. We would definitely stay here again! Great house, Pura! Thank you for making our stay perfect!

Perfect for a family of 4

We spent a week and really felt comfortable here. There was enough space for us to all have our own areas, but yet it was not so big that we did not feel we were together. There were lots of extras in the kitchen - such as spices, syrup, coffee, coolers for day trips...etc. The host was very responsive to my questions.

Large house with almost an acre of land, fenced in. There's a river behind the house, but you can't get to it directly -- there's a boat launch about a 10 min walk south. Our washer broke and the owners were nice enough to replace it while were there.

Olympic Peninsula visit

It was perfect and we will hopefully be back for a future trip to this home and beautiful area of Washington. The home was perfectly located for day trips to many different areas of Olympic NP. My only regret is, we didn't stay long enough or get to do any fishing ! Thanks Pura for the hospitality and for sharing your home with adventurers !

Hidden Gem

A comfortable hideaway overlooking the SolDuc river inna nice quiet location. Easy access to the National Park, Pacific Ocean shore, and nearby towns of Forks and LaPush. Great communication from the property owner. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Enjoy your stay.

Loved the Property

I booked this property because we were visiting different parts of Washington and my daughters are huge Twilight fans. They had a great time visiting the different shops in Forks. The best part of the stay was visiting Hoh Rain Forest and La Push. The cabin was comfortable for four and it had everything we needed. We loved the trees and river directly behind the cabin. It was a great setting to relax and sit by the fire pit. We would stay again if in the area.

Quiet and nice home

The home is set in a great and quiet area, overlooking the river in the backyard. It has two floors, the upper floor has a bedroom (no doors) and a 1/2 bath. All amenities were there for our two day stay. We enjoyed it!

Beautiful house on river

This is a lovely home with huge windows overlooking forest and river below. We especially enjoyed the outside deck and firepit area. House is older but beds very comfortable and kitchen and pantry exceptionally well equipped.
