The home was very nice, clean and comfortable for our group. There were more amenities (extra toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soap, cleaning supplies, brand new toothbrushes, etc.) available for use than I’ve ever seen in any VRBO I’ve stayed at. The highway noise was not bad at all but TJ sound machines in each room were a great bonus offering! Loved our stay!

This property is beautiful and the host has thought of all the little things that make staying in a home simple and enjoyable. The kitchen is well-stocked with oil, spices, foil, plastic wrap to make cooking easy! There is a great outdoor eating area that we used for most of our meals. The pool is clean and was the highlight of our visit! The pool deck is a little rough- recommend flip flops or water shoes for kids!The beds were so comfortable and plenty of space for our family!There is a highway close to the property but the noise didn’t bother us at all and she even has noise machines for lighter sleepers!!There are several restaurants nearby and grocery stores including Trader Joe’s and Sprouts - a great farmer’s market store!We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property! Lara was easy to communicate with and responded promptly to any questions!

Hundred Oaks Cottage was a comfortable respite for my 3 member family while we attended the national bowling tournament. We loved having such a cozy spot close to the venue. There are many thoughtful touches throughout the house such as sound machines in the bedrooms & ear plugs (we didn’t use either), as well as bath products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath salts). We loved relaxing in the pool even with the interstate traffic overhead. We played with the many pool toys (noodles, rings) & appreciated the Beach towels. This neighborhood is adorable & location is great! There is a grocery store & great restaurants very close by. The kitchen is well stocked - we didn’t use it with all the good restaurants nearby but it would be easy to cook here if you wanted to. We definitely would consider staying here again if in the area. Lara is a great, communicative host even sending suggestions for breakfast during our stay.

Peaceful Neighborhood

This place is in a peaceful neighborhood, The house is tastefully decorated and was very clean. The host made sure there were basic starter supplies like coffee pods, new toothbrush and paste , laundry pods ect..There also was a list of local restaurants,grocery stores and brochures of points of interest in the area.

LSU Parents weekend

We traveled to Baton Rogue for parents weekend with a party of 6. The property was clean, spacious, well appointed and had a super convenient location. Highly recommend and will stay again if available.

Most Wonderful trip!!

This was a wonderful house wonderful location for us taking our daughter back to start her third year at LSU, the house is so comfortable and beautifully decorated and was so handy to go back-and-forth to the LSU campus. The owners were wonderful to work with and very responsive when I had additional questions. We will be back!

Best stay ever.

This is the best rental we’ve ever stayed at. Location was great. The property was clean and exactly as pictured. The host was so helpful and super responsive and gave wonderful recommendations for food and things in town. The house is stocked as well, if I forgot to pack something Lara (the host) had it in the house….laudry detergent, toothbrush, lotion, etc. We were here for a week playing baseball and jumping in the pool after a hot day outside was fabulous. I could go on and on about how much we loved this place. Also, to top it all off the neighbors are fabulous. They played ball with our boys and one day when my car wouldn’t start they came over to jump it off…it didn’t work so they immediately called their mechanic. I got a ride so I wouldn’t miss my son’s game. While I’m at the game the neighbor gets the mechanic to start my car, then she drives it to the mechanics store and it’s fixed by the time my son’s game is over. This could have been such a headache for us and this precious neighbor saved the day. Southern hospitality is a real thing and we felt it the whole time we stayed here. We are thankful for Lara and her wonderful neighbors and we HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Love this House!

Perfect location. Cutest house! The owners thought of everything! My family came in June 2024 for a LSU college tour and an extended visit and stayed at this cute cottage home. The house was clean, comfortable and so close to everything that we wanted. The pool was so nice to use after a long day. The owners were easily accessible and quick to respond with any questions or recommendations for us new to the area. The house and grounds were impeccably clean everything amenity or extra was there just in case we forgot anything. We will definitely be back again!
