"Arrived and checked in quickly. Efficient young chap did all the preliminaries and we headed to our room. Room was in the main building at the front. Large room with plenty of wall lights and lamps as well as spot lights. Lovely sized room and bathroom. Plenty of boiling hot water as soon as the tap was turned. Beds were clean and very comfy. "This was one of the prettiest places we've ever stayed in. Breakfast was delicious and personalised, wonderfully renovated pub and hotel rooms. Staff were really friendly and great pub to enjoy a drink or eat in. Comfortable, quiet and extremely relaxing with added bonus of bath and sash windows which opened to look out at the front of the property. PERFECT!!"

"A lot of design flair has been put into The Kings Head interiors. Very comfortable. The choice of breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal we enjoyed there. The staff were very helpful as was their manager Tahir. The Kings Head is on the bus route into Winchester with a bus stop right outside. Very convenient for visiting the city. We were very impressed and would definitely stay again."
