"When our initial room didn't have much of a window, the staff was very helpful and quickly switched us to an available room with a balcony for a nominal fee. The place has a cool retro beach-motel vibe, which some may enjoy more than others but we liked. Despite the meh weather, the attached pub was pretty lively for dinner with a nice outside seating area and I'm sure that during the summer the whole place and attached small beach are very lively. "There was nothing about this place that we liked. The parking lot was being used by a crew of workers. The night after we slept in the king sized bed we found there was debris way down under the covers. It was disgusting. Obviously no one changed the sheets. The desk help was apologetic, but never offered to come and see what we were talking about and never offered to reimburse us!"

"Location is convenient across the street from the Shoreline Diner. Close by to Jacob's Beach, a smaller family-oriented spot. Continental breakfast suffices to get the day started with coffee available 24/7. Bathroom was spotless and room for three adults was spacious and well maintained. Highly recommended."

"Everything was great with the exception that we had no hot water in the shower. I advised the front desk and they stated they would contact maintenance however we were checking out. Property was very clean. Staff was friendly. Complimentary breakfast was much better than others I've had at other hotels. Would definitely stay here again"
