"The cabin is very clean and cozy. Great little porch to have evening wine or morning coffee on. Nice little fire pit to relax around in the evening. The cabin is fully stocked and the owner Michelle lives right nearby and made sure we had everything we needed. She even came down and set up the logs in the fire pit. Highly recommend this charming cabin. Fancy Gap has no real grocery store but there is a Food Lion about 11 miles away that has everything."

"Absolutely the best vacation place. Marvelous location. New River Trail was the ultimate! Mere steps from the house. Rooms were well appointed. Kitchen had the necessities needed. Hot tub was a bonus. Communication with Heather was always prompt, courteous, from before rental to after we left. "This cabin is located on a "still" portion of the New River well above Claytor Lake in Virginia. The property had kayaks, outdoor charcoal grilling and is just across the river from miles of the New River biking trail. The cabin is well maintained, built with quality and full of amenities. During our short stay we saw deer grazing, eagles soaring over the river hoping for a catch and a muskie working the river's edge feeding on small fish in the early morning. Much of "the New" was hard hit...

"My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely."

"The yurt was perfect! Very clean and equipped with everything we needed. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The board & card games were an added plus. We didnt get to use any outdoor amenities as it stormed our entire stay, but it ended up being the perfect getaway. Highly recommended as we will be back again!"

"My sister and I were delighted to revisit one of our favorite mountain cabins. We love the convenient access, proximity to quaint mountain towns, and especially the beautiful private park with flowing creek. We always make time for the noontime music at the Bluegrass Music Museum and can't resist a trip to Nancy's Candies. This time we added a picnic at Groundhog Mt. So relaxing. Hopefully we can return next year."
