The raised deck overlooks the terraced rear garden with well stocked borders, a lower terrace and sheltered barbeque area. Lovely rural views from the raised deck and garden of wooded hills, fields and to the rear of cottage's garden the neighbouring arboretum and pond.

Tawstock village is a quiet rural village formerly tithed to the manor of Tawstock, with some old thatched cottages, a thirteenth century church, the remains of a Elizabethan gate house and a more recent Tawstock Court. There are lovely walks in the nearby woods and if you are lucky you might see deer, owls, buzzards and other wildlife.

A great peaceful getaway but close to all North Devon's beaches and amenities.
