Renovated and modern apartment. Located in the city centre next to Passeig de Gracia. Ideal for couples, families or friends.The apartment has 1 bedroom with 1 double bed. In addition, in the living room there is 1 sofa bed for 2 people, so the capacity of the apartment is up to 4 people. The apartment has a kitchen and a full bathroom and has air conditioning, heating, free high-speed WIFI internet, TV. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, refrigerator, coffee maker, water boiler, ceramic hob, microwave, oven and washing machine. Towels, sheets and hairdryer are included.Central apartment located on the border between the Gracia and Eixample neighbourhoods. The apartment is a few metres from Diagonal Avenue and Passeig de Gràcia. It has the best of each neighbourhood. Thus, from the Gracia neighbourhood, it has the quiet, relaxed and bohemian lifestyle with its numerous restaurants from all over the world, tapas bars... and from the Eixample neighbourhood it has the most elegant part, with the boutiques of Passeig de Gràcia, the magnificent modernist houses by Gaudí "La Pedrera" and "Casa Batlló". This apartment was unfit for rental. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY

We rented this apartment for 9 nights. Upon arrival early in the day, we were escorted to the apartment where the maid was cleaning. The agent showed us around and told us not to touch the settings on the water heater. We left our bags and went out for the rest of the day. When we returned and settled in I put in a load of wash. Four hours later the washing machine still hadn't finished it's cycle. And when we tried to take a shower that evening, there was no hot water. A good look at the water heater showed it had apparently caught fire and was burned out. We called the number we'd been given for 24 hour service and got no answer. Over the course of the next couple hours we called 3 more times with no answer. We also sent a message to the WhatsApp address we'd been given, also with no response. I sent a complaint to VRBO with photos. Since it was now quite late, we went to bed and repacked our things in the morning. The next morning my husband was at the office when it opened. Anna returned with him and agreed the water heater was burned out. She was very concerned that the 24 hour service was unresponsive. We told her we were moving to a hotel and wanted our money back. She said she would ask the manager to do so. The next morning I got an email from the manager saying they would refund "the days not stayed in the apartment." That was May 22. I never received a refund. Working through my credit card company it took until OCTOBER to get our deposit and a refund for 8 nights. The company claimed we'd stayed there longer and that the heater wasn't broken. Then they claimed the deposit was made too long ago. I spent HOURS sending documentation (yes, I'd kept EVERYTHING including photos) and fighting with the credit company to keep working on it. UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND MONTHS TRYING TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK, DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.

L’appartement ne correspondait pas aux photos proposées lors de la réservation,beaucoup de deception

L’appartement est bien situé, mais on entend tout le bruit de la rue ce qui peut être embêtant pour dormir. Peu de vaisselle laissée à disposition, et cuisine pas totalement propre à notre arrivée. En dehors de cela personnel accueillant et appartement fonctionnel

Barcelona apartment

The Gracia apartment in Barcelona was in a good location with nearby restaurants. We loved Amelie restaurant on the square a few blocks from the apartment. The pull out couch was much more comfortable than the bedroom bed. The apartment didn’t come with anything to cook with that I have seen in other units that we have rented like spices, oil etc. It also did not have a coffee maker which I would have liked. Also, many other places give you free coffee pods, sugar etc. and even a bottle of wine and biscuits. I did enjoy the air conditioning and balcony. The key was hard to use and would prefer a more modern lock system. I would recommend the unit if additional touches were added to make the stay more comfortable. Kate, the manager was very helpful with the map and giving us advice when we arrived on restaurants.

Centrally located but noisy at night

We really enjoyed Aparteasy's central location in Gracia, walking distance to two of Gaudi's buildings (Casa Battlo and La Pedrera) and a train ride away from Mont Juic and the Rambla, as well as other attractions. There is a very good local supermarket a block and a half away (don't go to the other one located on the corner, also a block and a half away) When we first arrived, one of the women who worked in the office and spoke excellent English was very helpful in orienting us as to directions, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. There are three wonderful squares (or plaças) up the street, which are delightful in the evening and we had a very good dinner at one of the cafés in the first square. The kitchen was very usable. We elected not to use the air conditioning because of some health concerns, and had the windows open which, with the way that the apartment is configured, created a lot of cool air, especially at night. But, having the windows open let all the noise in, and it was increased by the canyon-like effect of the very narrow street, with passers-by talking at all hours of the night and street sweepers and garbage trucks operating in the early hours of the morning. If you elect to use air-conditioning and keep the windows closed, you may not be bothered by the nighttime noise. Another problem was that the television didn't work and the office didn't send anyone to fix it despite two complaints. Finally, the floor was very dirty, making my feet black as I walked around the apartment. Overall, we enjoyed the location of the apartment very much but didn't get a good night's sleep.

Great location, clean apartment, friendly staff

Santa Tecla 3 is on a very small street in Grazia neighbourhood. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. 35 minutes walk right through downtown to Barcoloneta, 15 minutes to Sagrada Familia, 20 minutes to Park Guell... can't go wrong if you like to walk places. The apartment is small, but clean and well-appointed. Check the upper cupboards for your dish rack :) Aparteasy were friendly and helpful. Book it!

Good location, basic.

The apartment is very well situated relative to public transport, major attractions of Barcelona, and attractive walkable neighborhoods. The staff at Aparteasy was very nice and helpful. The apartment is very basic in it's furnishing, but everything works. Kitchen and bath were in good working order. We enjoyed our stay.
