'Top Shelf Sugar' - Private and Beautifully Decorated

This recently remodeled premier condo is located at the peak of Sugar Mountain with a stunning view of the Blue Ridge. Spacious and warmly furnished, this condo is perfect for a special getaway. A King-sized bed and queen-sized sleeper sofa will sleep 4 people in total. This unit features vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows, allowing you to enjoy the vast scenery and natural light. On those cool nights you can lounge by the stone gas fireplace and enjoy the flat-screen TV. An equipped kitchen affords modern stainless steel appliances. Relax at this tranquil spot on the mountain just minutes away from tennis, golf, and skiing. For your added convenience this condo also has Wi-Fi and a washer and dryer(located in the stairwell closet right outside the unit entrance). New heating and a/c unit installed 2023. Non-smoking. Absolutely NO Pets from December through March. Pet-friendly may be available seasonally. There are pet size/breed and number restrictions please confirm with us before booking. Please acknowledge that there is a $100 pet fee(per pet). No Check-in's Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All guests required to sign rental agreement upon booking.

Great top of the mountain stay

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Top floor with fantastic views. Got lucky and had quite a bit of snow! If it's snowing/icy be sure to follow the guidelines of 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Was a bit challenging with front wheel drive only on the icy roads but we made it! Highly recommend

Great winter weekend getaway!

Wonderfully updated condo with great views! We skied once and used the shuttle which was great because it was a busy holiday weekend and the parking lots were overflowing. Just call to be sure you know where the pick up is. This is a really great space to enjoy time in, time on the slopes, and close to town to go out for a nice meal! Absolutely no complaints with this stay!

Great getaway with a view!

Plenty of space for a couple retreat. Great view of Beech Mountain and Banner Elk in the valley. Very quiet surprisingly seeing that it isn’t really far off the beaten path. The ski slopes were closed for season when we went so maybe it gets a little more lively when they’re open. All in all this place was great and we will return.

Great location - beautiful views

The view from this unit is beyond beautiful. We loved watching the sun come up everyday as we drank our coffee by the fire. The location is very convenient. It’s very close to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and several very good restaurants. Parts of the unit have been updated - the kitchen is beautiful and very nice. I thought the entire unit was beautifully decorated. The bathroom hasn’t been renovated yet and the shower is old. My kids were a little disappointed that they couldn’t use the tub - it was functional but there wasn’t enough hot water to even halfway fill the tub. The couch pulled out into a bed - the mattress on it was fine for my kids but I don’t think adults would find it very comfortable. Overall we would recommend the unit due to the close proximity to the ski resort and breathtaking views.

NY Stay and Family Ski Trip

The views from the property are as advertised- just gorgeous. Windows all across the back and side of dining area just make the unit. Very quiet complex you are on the top floor on the end. Great location to slopes…2 minute car ride to the base. Kitchen update is nice. Bathroom is very dated and jacuzzi tub wasn’t really working but… that being said we had an awesome trip. Worked for a family of 4 (but our kids are still tweens)…next trip would probably need something bigger.

Beautiful View and Unit

We rented this unit over labor day weekend. Arrived checked in and it was as nice as advertised but No air conditioning ( which we probably should have checked for) so we ended up not staying. Would be a wonderful winter destination

Nice Vacation Spot

Great place to have a vacation, the view is amazing, the kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal, and the pictures are exactly what it looks like. It does require going up 1 flight of stairs in order to get to the room. Most of the attractions around the area are out doors, such as hiking, with beautiful views all around. Didn't have much interaction with the management office, everything was already setup and didn't require me to have any interaction with them, making it an easy and smooth vacation. Absolutely would recommend to friends.

Super cute and very clean condo

Loved the decor, views from balcony were great. Bed was super comfy. Super close to Fred and Larry’s coffee shop. Tubing and skiing just 2 minutes away. The pots need some updating as they are very worn. Hot water heater is not large enough and takes too long to reheat. Love the vaulted ceilings.

Great property for a quick getaway. Views from inside and on the balcony were breathtaking, with the ability to see for miles as well as down in the valley. Seems as the property has been updated, but heat was difficult to figure out and adjust at first. Overall a nice place.

Quick Getaway

We love Banner Elk, NC and had hoped to take advantage of ski resorts, unfortunately mother nature had warmer temperatures in mind. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay and took advantage of visiting The Blowing Rock and other sites instead. We also enjoyed taking some time to rest and restore before the new year.

Beach Lovers head to Mountains

Well my boyfriend and I had to attend a wedding up on Banner Elk this past Saturday. It was our first to the mountains as the beach is more our thing. Anyway in ate search we went through a number of condos, home rentals for this weekend and choose this location. Well let me tell you it was beautiful what you see is what you get no surprises, management company extra nice and directions were explained very well No Issues! We loved it the view was awesome just breathe taken. Our one issue with this condo and yes it might be miner to some it’s means a great deal to us. The pots and pans were so gross making breakfast was a total nightmare we use a six pack of eggs in one breakfast for two people because it stuck so bad to the pan each time. I reached out to management company about missing living room remote to tv they were up to help us search in minutes it was amazing at that time I shared about the pans and he Alan said he would make note to get corrected… He too was very pleasant to speak with and very helpful. The management company I give them a 100% and this condo I give it a 99% Great location try it out for yourself what you see is really what you are getting!

Can't beat this view!

Remodeled kitchen with a perfect view. This is an end unit with well placed windows, so even from the inside you can see views from many sides. I would definitely stay here again!
