We arrived too early in the morning, so we were not allowed check-in. We notified the bell service that our luggage would arrive later due to airline delay, and we would return at normal check-in time. When we returned at check-in time, we learned the bell service reported to the baggage courier service that we were not checked-in, and therefore our luggage was not delivered. Complete mishandling by the bell service, when they should have reported that we already arrived. Instead, our luggage was not delivered until almost 9pm.
We had 2 stays in a 10-day period. During the 1st stay, the hotel put a hold on my CC for deposit, which is normal. The hold was immediately released when we checked out after the 1st stay. For the 2nd stay, they said using a CC for deposit would mean a 45-day wait for the returned deposit. I explained that we just had a previous stay and the hold was immediately released. They insisted it was 45 days, so we just used cash, which we did get back at check-out. It was only 2000 baht per room, but it was still an inconvenience and inconsistency in handling a deposit.
The rooms are old and outdated. Best as we tried to stay tidy, bathroom floor always had a small amount of standing water around the corner drain after showering or using the sink. Could never see where it came from.
Location to BTS and hotel breakfast buffet was the only good part. Lobby is nice and big, but don’t try to eat or drink there because they don’t allow it.
