Welcome to my cosy home tucked away in the centre of picturesque Adderbury.
My newly renovated 3-storey cottage comfortably sleeps 4 guests with two bedrooms, family bathroom and cosy living room with separate dining area and a kitchen. Outside there's private parking, a small terrace for two or venture into the 'secret garden'!
With 4 pubs, a café & village store all a short walk away, my home is perfect for couples, small families or friends looking for a peaceful escape near the Cotswolds.
PLEASE NOTE: the steep, narrow winding staircases between each floor are part of the cottage’s historic charm but may not be suitable for young children or guests with mobility concerns.
Downstairs: Step inside through the rear stable door into the fully equipped kitchen, complete with oven/gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster & Nespresso machine (please bring your own pods).
A serving hatch above the small breakfast bar connects the kitchen to the open-plan living/dining area, where you’ll find a dining table that can extend to comfortably seat 4 and is also great for home office working.
The cosy living room space features plush sofas, TV with Amazon firestick (own subscriptions required) and a gas fire with natural flames for relaxing in the cooler evenings. Hive smart heating also runs throughout the property to keep you comfortable during your stay.
The cottage features two bedrooms across two upper floors, both with outstanding views overlooking the medieval village.
First floor: Main bedroom with a king-size bed, built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers Recently renovated family bathroom includes a power shower over the bath, sink & WC
Top floor: Twin bedroom featuring 2 single beds with freestanding rack for hanging (there is no shelf storage)
Outside space: Small gravelled terrace at the rear with a bistro set for 2 Beside the parking space is a gate to enter the 'secret garden' with outdoor seating/dining for 4
Parking: Private parking behind the property for one small/medium vehicle with additional ample free parking on the street, just a few steps away.
Location: Adderbury is a quintessential medieval village with 4 fantastic pubs, a café and village store. It's conveniently located just off the A4260 with Soho Farmhouse only 7 miles away, Aynho RH 3.5 miles, Blenheim Palace 12 miles & Banbury/M40 only 3 miles.
Adderbury is ideally located for day trips with the Cotswolds just a 30-minute drive away and Oxford is 18 miles away by car, bus or park & ride.
Guests have access to the whole property as described.
Please note regarding the 'secret garden', although the front half is for your own use, access to this little-used space is shared so please do not venture beyond the outdoor furniture as the rear half of the garden belongs to someone else.
My home is a mid-terrace in a quiet neighbourhood, so strictly no parties allowed please. Quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am.
While all the rooms have full-height ceilings, taller guests will need to mind their head when going up & down the stairs as the entrance to the stairs at the top & bottom are quite low.
The church nearby has bells that chime every 15 minutes but is very quiet when the windows are closed.
Standard check-in time is from 4pm onwards and check-out time is by 10am. We may be able to offer a later check-out or earlier check-in for a small cost, subject to availability and via prior arrangement.

Mid-stay cleans and/or linen changes can be organised on request for an additional charge.
Linen, towels & toiletries are provided along with a welcome pack including tea/coffee/sugar/milk sachets and snacks.
We can supply a travel cot & high chair for an additional cost of £25 per stay, please kindly request these at the time of booking. Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot.
