Nestled between Llanuwchlyn and Bala, this exquisite two-bedroom holiday cottage offers a truly opulent retreat for those seeking a 5-star getaway. With a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional charm, this cottage promises a memorable experience for discerning travellers. It boasts two beautifully appointed bedrooms, one with kingsize bed and a second with twin beds, each adorned with premium linens and elegant furnishings. The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower and separate bath tub. There’s a spacious living area which is tastefully furnished with sumptuous sofa and 2 armchairs, the perfect space to unwind, enjoy a good book, or simply soak in the ambiance. The open-plan kitchen is a culinary haven, equipped with modern appliances and finished with exquisite granite countertops. The dining area provides an intimate setting for enjoying meals, with seating for four. Step outside into the rear private garden to find a deluxe hot tub, where you can relax and take in the stunning views of the surrounding countryside or stargaze in the evening.

The area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a multitude of activities including hiking, cycling and wildlife watching. The park’s rugged beauty is simply breathtaking. Bala Lake (Llyn Tegid) is just a 5-minute walk away and is the largest natural lake in Wales. It’s perfect for water-based activities such as sailing, windsurfing and fishing. You are able to launch your own canoes or paddle boards or hire from a local Watersports Centre.

From Llanuwchllyn railway station, take a scenic journey on the Bala Lake Railway, a narrow-gauge heritage railway that winds along the shores of Bala Lake. Castell Carndochan is a historic ruin perched on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Arenig Fawr, a challenging yet rewarding hike, leading to the summit of Arenig Fawr, where you’ll be rewarded with sweeping vistas of Snowdonia. Other close by mountains ranges are the Arans, Berwyns and Cader Idris so plenty of local walking routes.

This wonderful property is set in a beautiful location. It’s well-designed and furnished with thoughtful details, ensuring we wouldn’t have missed a single thing. The property is clean and tidy, and the outdoor areas and hot tub were amazing.We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back next year. Thank you very much for having us.
