Our charming 2-bed duplex apartment in the heart of Bakewell! Nestled in the stunning Peak District, offering the perfect blend of modern comfort & rustic charm. With a well equipped kitchen & a stylish living area, you'll feel right at home. Explore Bakewell's historic market town, famous for its scrumptious Bakewell Pudding. Immerse yourself in the stunning countryside, with hiking trails and outdoor adventures just moments away, Book Now for a Memorable Stay!

If you sit in the window seat at the back you can look up over the old rooftops to the parish church, which started life not long after the Norman Conquest.

Being positioned right in the heart of Bakewell makes for a very convenient stay. Everything is on the doorstep.

We’ve combined antique and modern furniture along with imaginative art to make a fresh, engaging and relaxing environment.

The kitchen is equipped with appliances, utensils and crockery and as this is a Duplex you will find a second bedroom via a short staircase.

The duplex also has free secure Parking a short walk away which is a real bonus in this historical town.

Old Beams is one of 3 apartments that I have in this Grade 2 listed building so please take a look at The Eaves and Cobblers Rest if you cannot find the availability in Old Beams.

Guests will have access to all areas of the property and a free parking space a short walk away.

Please note - there are 2 x sets of 15 internal steps up to the apartment and then a further 12 steps inside the property to access the upper floor & beds.

This property is part of 3 in the same building owned & managed by myself.

In addition you can see from the photographs that there are some low ceilings where we have the bathroom and the bedroom on the upper floor of the duplex

Noisy but handy location

Apartment lounge and main bedroom good, upstairs bedroom lots of beams and low ceilings, felt awful that family had to stay in that. Lounge very noisy with motor bikes in the road below. Communication with management a bit computer says no, they just reiterate rules and check in and check out times rather than saying something helpful like no one is parking in the space so of course you can park there, as was the case. Despite all this we made the best of it, lounge was comfortable for 4 but dining table was very difficult to sit at, table too small and low.

In need of updating. The chairs in lounge were all stained and large stain on the carpet as you enter. Lovely comfy bed but upstairs was too cramped and claustrophobic. Fantastic shower and great location
