"Java Cottage was a beautiful property in the heart of Dunmore Town with walkable access to virtually everything. Combined with the pool, grounds, and outdoor cooking/dining/lounging areas, it was a true oasis within an oasis. Host Anna, property manager Rosemary, and staff Issie, Donna & Tis couldn't have been more helpful, responsive, and friendly. Being an older home, it has a few quirks, but they simply added to the charm rather than detracted from the stay. One note for those traveling...

"We stayed for 8 days in one of Valerie’s cottages and loved every minute of it. First off Valerie is amazing and has been on the island since the 60’s so just getting to meet her and hear her stories was worth the trip. The cottage is nothing fancy or boujie but it was clean and had everything we needed for a great vacation. The pool was great for cooling off after being in the salt water all day. "First time in Exuma, and this place was perfect for what GF and I needed. Location was great as a grocery store was right there, and pretty central on the island to get to all the beaches. Right on the water with a small sand beach area to yourself. Two kayaks were a nice surprise that we used on several locations. The owner did have a small rental car that met are needs, but be prepared for rough roads to the house and in other areas of the island. If we come back, we will bring our own...
