"The stay was unpleasant. The initial reception who checked us in was pretty short with us. We waited for 2hours to check in the room and we had had a long drive from out of town. No apologies no acknowledgment, all she said was your room is not ready and you picked a very specific room. we arrived around 3.20 pm and we didn’t get checked in until after 5 pm. "Could not reach the front desk the night before to ask a question. The shuttle service was not notified so the day person contacted them and we made the flight in plenty of time. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was nice. Room was clean. We did not have a car to park but looked like there were plenty of spaces. Ordered food as there was nothing walkable "

"I stay at this hotel every year for the Berkshire meeting. It's clean, predictable and the staff has always been great. Breakfast is not included so beware of that detail. There is a great breakfast place caddy-corner to the hotel called Lula-B's which has great options and prices. The downstairs restaurant in the hotel (Spencers) is fantastic. The gym is pretty good as far as hotel gyms go."

"The good news: the staff was responsive, friendly, thorough, and helpful. The bad news: The parking situation was bad. The road for the hotel was partially closed so getting to the parking garage while dragging luggage through downtown was a big pain. After managing traffic and closures from hotel to garage (15 minutes +), I had to walk a couple blocks, cross at a clearing, and walk back a couple of blocks with a heavy back-pack and suitcase.
