No kitchen and coffee space was alittle tight and in the pictures upstairs room showed a double bed but when we arrived it was 2 singles which was disappointing my husband. The room was clean and comfortable with a microwave, refrigerator, some dishes, and plenty of space. It isn’t fancy, but was a nice place to stay a couple of nights in the Waitomo area.

It was definitely a unique stay. Just keep in mind that the deeper in the ship you go, the colder it gets. However, the duvet and blankets they provide are plenty warm, and there are extra heaters provided, plus some electric blankets I think. People complained about the diesel smell, while present, ...
