Welcome to the beach house of your dreams! This beauty has good concrete parking, a carport, an under-house entry, a stair tamer package lift, and a very cool screened porch with a therapeutic hot tub. Brand new upgrades to this home include a new pool table, arcade game, and Playstation for the entire family's entertainment.

Enter into the good-sized game room with a full bathroom, the pool table, and a full wet bar. Head up to the second level to find the first suite with a full bathroom and a nearby laundry area. The large second bedroom shares a bathroom with the third bedroom, which enjoys access to the east deck. Enjoy a furnished den with an entertainment center, and live large in the third-level great room with tall ceilings, a half-bath, plush resort furnishings, and an entertainment center. A nicely equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar opens to a comfortable dining area, and is always open for hungry appetites. Your time spent in the kitchen is made all the easier with a new air fryer, crockpot, blenders, and Keurig.

Rest comfortably in the fourth bedroom, a large king suite with a private bathroom. Three stories of decks catch every view and the plentiful rays of the sun. Resisting vacation Temptation is futile!

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
A double sofa bed offers extra sleeping space.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking, which will be sent to your email.
Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. The club is typically open mid-May to mid-October, depending on weather.
The fireplace is not operational.
This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Great place right on the highway

Exactly as listed, I’ve been coming to Avon yearly for decades, (anyone have a nice place for sale?) This property is right on 12 basically as soon as you get into town. Walking distance to the beach and Froggy Dogs. The pool table and arcade games on the first floor are a nice touch. Would recommend and stay again.

OBX Family vacation

We had a great stay for our first time visiting the outer banks. The weather cooperated, the home was perfect and we were very grateful for the cargo lift on the side of the house as the kitchen was on the 3rd floor. We would definitely rent this home again.

Making Memories

Our goal was to make memories and to have a quiet, relaxing time. The Temptation gave us all of this. A beautiful home and when it wasn't raining from the top deck we got a peak at the Sound and the Ocean. Great house and gave us all the accommodations we could need! Would highly recommend!

Home away from home

Loved this house! Everything was so organized and clean it was awesome. Our kids loved the game room and the hot tub was perfect for adult winding down time. Access to the beach was great. Very cozy home. I loved that they literally supply you with everything you need to enjoy your vacation comfortably. I would definitely book this home again for future stays

Roomy and relaxing

Wonderful and relaxing experience, well appointed property that was clean, spacious and made vacationing easy. The property was close to the beach. It does however require a bit of effort to get all of the gear across highway 12 since the house sits on the opposite side of it so bring an equipment caddy cart. The noise from the main drag was not an issue at all. The house is also conveniently located within a mile of several restaurants and cafes as well as retail and grocery store. I rated the communication with property management as only four stars bc I had to call a few times to get the answer to the request I made over the phone and on the third call I made back to them after five days they told me that the request had been granted only no one from Vacasa had emailed or called me to notify me of that. But they were always professional and friendly when we spoke and did accommodate our request so we were pleased. We would definitely rent this place again

Great property!

This was the cleanest home we have rented in OBX in many years. Everything was exactly as listed. Close to everything. About a block away from the beach access. We had some rain and the house has lots of things to keep you busy...pool table, video games, etc. Hot tub was smaller than most, but newer as well. Will definetly come back to this home!

Easy to find quiet neighborhood

This was the first time visiting the outer banks for us. Our 3 year old enjoyed her own room and her own. Space. She even made a friend a neighborhood cat came and visited. We got to meet some of the neighbors. The road was closed Sunday but reopened Tuesday so we got to get out and enjoy the weather. The house is beautiful and we got some much needed family time in that's for everything. When I had a question about anything I had an answer within the hour thanks so much.

Beautiful Home, Horrible Noisy Neighbors

Unfortunately, the beauty and close proximity to the beach was overshadowed by the rude, loud and drunk neighbors. The noise could be heard as soon as you started to cross back over dune from beach, which is a whole street down and across rte 12!! We couldn’t even keep windows open due to noise that went on nonstop during daylight from Friday until we left Monday. Completely ruined vacation for us.

Very nice family get away

Checkin was easy, house was easy to find. House was very clean. There were no trash cans in any of the bathrooms, which was weird, but after some hunting around the house we found them all. Hand soap and hand towels were missing from some of the bathrooms, but we were able to find enough to stock them. The neighborhood was good, but neighbors were noisy. I wish there was some kind of privacy screen for the hot tub area. It’s right across from the neighbors hot tub area, so we felt like we were being watched. The baby gates are pretty old and could use replacing. One doesn’t latch at all, so make note of that if you have a little one with you. We really appreciated the high chair. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Temptation Home in Avon

Home was clean and spacious. It was located on the very busy and noisy Hwy12 making it impossible to use the porches or have any outside activities. No gas grill; just a charcoal grill located in front a few feet from highway. Also no hairdryer and very few basic cleaning products were furnished.....No sponge or bathroom products. Ocean beach was beautiful and accessible across Hwy 12 ... a 10 minute walk.

Great place... but didn’t like dealing with Hatteras Realty. We wanted to extend our stay. No one was staying at the property yet they wouldn’t allow us to stay. Gave no reason except “because”. We were unable to contact the owners to see if an exception was possible. Give the property 5/5. Give Hatteras Realty 1/5

Awesome house for a family of 6

We really enjoyed our stay. Great house to chill and be comfortable in after being on the water. We went to and from beach several times a day. We loved how easy it was to get to the water. The beach is beautiful and you don't feel crowded by people at all. Easy to maintain social distancing.

Nice house, not really VRBO

The house is great. The map is slightly misleading, as the house is on hwy 12. My biggest issue is that we had to work with a realty company. I use VRBO for the ease and informality. This wasn’t really either. Had to check in at their office before they would tell me the address of the house. Had to pay more fees (like early check in because their regular check in is 5pm). They were nice, just not what I use this site for.
