pedestrianized zone,the apartment is bright (south facing) and a

The apartment is in a great location on a pedestrian street very close to the Les Halles market. We easily walked to all Avignon attractions that we visited. The apartment is clean and everything worked well. The host took the time to greet us on arrival and give us advice on activities available to us during our stay.

We had a wonderful time at the apartment - it could not be more central in the old town. Being cooks, we especially appreciated that Les Halles was just a few steps away, and the Palais du Papes garage a 5-minute walk, where we parked our rental car. Avignon itself is also terrific. The apartment is perfect for a couple and the amenities mean that your stay will be comfortable and relaxed. Thanks to the owners, who made it a very pleasant stay!

A beautiful and clean apartment! We had all we needed to cook simple meals made of ingredients from the renowned Les Halles market onlya 3 min walk away, enjoy the silent and good quality AC, the comfortable bed, and have a wonderful home away from home to explore the region for a week while based in this lovely apartment. Paul is a lovely man and he met us on arrival, explained everything we needed perfectly, and I know we would love to return to this same apartment in the future!

Great location, clean apt

We stayed here for four nights. It was in a great location, walking distance to everything. Apartment was clean as a whistle and Paul met us there and assist of checking us in. We used the washing machine which was very helpful. Air conditioner in the bedroom worked well. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets were within a few steps of the apartment. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location anf facilities in the heart of A'vignon

The propery was well located central to tourist sites and restaurants. The atmosphere was vibrant. The property was self contained so to eat we were able to mix restaurants with cooking ourselves using local Les Halle market produce. We were late arriving due to roadworks however the owner waited and even met us in the street walking from the parking area. Hence check in was easy and enjoyable.

Absolutely magical

This is one of the finest VRBO properties that we have stayed at in 20 years. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this magical apartment. Paul and Claudie are kind and thoughtful hosts, ready with excellent suggestions for day trips, food, shopping and more. The flat is beautiful and immaculate, very comfortable, and just steps away from everything - the Palais Des Papes, the fantastic daily market at Les Halles, terrific dining and shopping and entertainment. We stayed 7 days and this was a fantastic base for exploring the Luberon/Provence. Highly recommend!!

An Absolutely Perfect Place!

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our one week stay. The apartment is conveniently located on a pedestrian street in central Avignon, and it is spacious, clean, comfortable, and furnished with all the necessities. It was particularly nice to have both a clothes and dishwasher. Most importantly, Paul and Claudie are warm and gracious hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We recommend their apartment most enthusiastically and hope to be able to return!

The apartment is right in the center of the walled city of old Avignon. We love to stay in the city center when we travel and walk everywhere, and this apartment was ideal. It is only about a 3 minute walk to the Palace of the Popes. There is a grocery store down the street. There are dozens of restaurants within 5 minutes in every direction. The street where the apartment is located is pedestrian only so it is very quiet at night. The apartment itself is very nice, had plenty of space for the 3 of us, and the beds were very comfortable. Loved the stone walls and wooden ceiling beams. Paul was a great host and very helpful. If you have a rental car, one tip is to park in the Palace of the Popes parking garage. It is much nicer and is much easier to access than the Les Halles parking garage. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place

My husband and I stayed in this charming apartment for six nights. We did not have a car but found the location to be an easy 10 minute walk to Avignon Central train station where we could catch a train or bus to many close by towns. The apartment fully equiped, exactly as it appears in photos. Paul was a very gracious host. Highly recommend staying here.

A wonderful location beside the synagogue

An excellent base for a couple wanting to explore Avignon, provided you can handle a couple of tricky flights of stairs. The apartment is fully equipped with all you need and just steps from the nearby market. Highly recommended.

Lovely Apartment in Perfect Location.

This charming apartment is in a perfect location for exploring all of the city on foot. The train station in town is also an easy walk for possible daytrips. The apartment is nicely furnished and a has a fair amount a closet and storage space. Paul and Claudie couldn't be nicer or more helpful. I highly recommend this property. The only downside for us (at our age) were the two flights of stairs.

Lovely apartment in the perfect location

The apartment is well equipped, incredibly clean and in a fantastic location. The host Paul, is extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. With an injured knee the stairs were the only problem for me. Can highly recommend.

The apartment was wonderful and really convenient to everything in Avignon. Very nice to use the kitchen for breakfast and to have a glass of wine at the end of the day. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was amazing to have in the heat of the summer. Great communication from the host and very responsive.
