Comfortable House in a Convenient Location

We were a family group of 5 adults spending our Christmas holiday together in Avignon. The house is on four levels, with a steep circular staircase, but after we got used to the stairs we enjoyed the house. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen when we cooked our Christmas dinner (roast duck and vegetables from the nearby market at Les Halles). The location is three short blocks to Les Halles and an easy, longer walk to the Palace des Papes, the Pont, and many shops. We would stay in this house again if we return.

Avignon townhouse

We really enjoyed our stay at the Avignon City Centre apartment - Dominique was an excellent communicative host, although we had no problems at all during our stay. He has a written a historical Avignon comic book that was awesome!The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped, which is very good since the apartment is so close to Marche des Halle’s with all of its beautiful food markets. We had a wonderful dinner at L’Agape a short walk through the old town away.

Great place, great host

The apartment was exactly as described, only better! We were 5 adults - two couples and one single - and the place has good shared space as well as enough differentiation to afford privacy. It is on three levels and, unless you have issues with stairs, worked well. Our host communicated well with us and had helpful suggestions; we would stay here again in a second.

Lovely comfortable apartment

The location was perfectly close to everything. A/C was lovely. It was cute and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. We felt very welcome. Dominique is a great communicator. We loved our home away from home in Avignon. Thank you, Dominique!!

A Gem in Avignon

The property has been beautifully renovated and is conveniently located in the center city and is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and tourist attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this property, and we look forward to staying here again.

Perfect home for 3 weeks in France

Well equipped, clean, and tastefully decorated home at a very reasonable price. Great communication with Dominique. My only caveat --- if you do not like stairs or if you have young children, this may not be your best fit.

Fantastic apartment in a fantastic location!

The apartment is well stocked, easy to find, and close to everything in the city centre. The house is spread over 4 floors (ground/street, 1,2,3), and the bathrooms and bedrooms are on floors 2,3 with very old, steep, spiraling, stone staircases between floors (which our 14 and 10 yr old loved), There are many great restaurants nearby, and we loved the Les Halles market for every kind of fresh food we could imagine. Our favorite evening meal was at O’Papilles! Authentic french restaurant filled with older locals and away from the tourist areas. For anyone planning to Uber around town: We returned our rental car after check-in and planned to get an Uber back, knowing the old streets are small and traffic can be slow. However, no drivers were available so we walked the two miles from Enterprise back to the apartment (not a problem for us, and we enjoyed seeing more of the city). But cars were not available on any day of our visit or to go to the train station, so be prepared to walk, use city buses, or book a taxi the night before. Check-in and out were a breeze, and the host was very kind. We would absolutely stay in this apartment again!

Great house in terrific location

Beautiful property in the centre of Avignon

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, modern house. Spread over 4 floors, this was a great space to help our kids (6 months, 3), settle and rest but also to head out to visit this beautiful town and it’s surroundings. sehr zentral, Wohnung über 3 Etagen, modern und schön eingerichtet

sehr schöne modern eingerichtet Wohnung, 2 Badezimmer, Ideal für Familien oder 2 Paare, in der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden, Badezimmer mußten wir vor Bezug allerdings nach etwas nach reinigen. Allerdings sind unsere Ansprüche an Sauberkeit auch hoch. Ansonsten alles in Ordnung.

A short stay in Avignon

We were a family of 6 including 2 kids staying in Avignon for 3 nights. The flat looks exactly like described with 3 large bedrooms to accommodate everyone. It's centrally located and has lots of storage, a convenient kitchen with the necessary appliances and a laundry room. It's clean and reasonably quiet not withstanding loud parties in the neighbourhood. The apartment is spread over 4 floors and the climb is pretty steep even for healthy adults so I would not recommend it for people with mobility issues. The apartment was equipped with toilet paper, salt, pepper, sugar and coffee. I would suggest buying basic necessities such as hand soap, napkins, and paper towels. Finally, the apartment is great for travellers without a car as parking in the city was very difficult to find including the streets or the nearby parking lot at La Halles. The free parking is about 20' walk from the apartment unless the shuttle is waiting there.

Meine Freundin und ich haben uns vom ersten Moment an hier zu Hause gefühlt. Jeder hatte seine eigene Etage mit Bad und alles entsprach 1zu 1 den Fotos: modern, gepflegt und nach meinem Empfinden sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Wenn man keine Probleme hat, auf mehreren Etagen zu wohnen (das hatten wir nicht) -eine ideale Wohnung. Die Vermieter waren jederzeit bereit, uns Fragen zu beantworten und uns zu helfen, was wir aber nicht in Anspruch nehmen mussten!

Stimmungsvolle Wohnung mit Allem was man braucht

Diese Wohnung ist toll gelegen in der Altstadt und hat alles was man bei einem Stadtaufenthalt braucht. Die Abwicklung war sehr unkompliziert, alles war gut beschrieben. Man muss allerdings gut zu Fuß sein (relativ steile Treppe). Für 5 Personen war etwas wenig Geschirr da (Tassen).
