RECENTLY REMODELED OCEAN VIEW CONDO w/golfcart

This unit sleeps NO MORE THAN 4 people total

The entire unit has been remodeled this past year including the restroom with a modern motion sensed vanity mirror, a kitchen with new appliances, unique redwood tile, white granite countertops & a smart tv fully loaded with Netflix and all new furniture throughout the unit.

It's important to acknowledge that there are 96 STEPS leading to and from the condo and NO PETS are allowed in the unit.

The condo is also equipped with an amazing view of the ocean (lookout for whales and dolphins)

If you enjoy tennis, miniature golf, swimming, working out, croquet, badminton, snorkeling, or even feeding the local deer. I do have most of the items in the unit for those activities, so please make sure you bring anything extra that you may need to make the best of your time in the Cove. You'll love it there...I fell in love my first visit. As far as transportation to Hamilton Cove, there will be a number of Taxi-Vans waiting as you walk off Catalina Express.
The keys will be waiting for you in the unit. Call me if you have any trouble or have any questions.If you have issues that need to be addressed in person, I have a local manager on the island, her number is (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Please remember check out is at 10am, we have guest checking in that same afternoon. FYI- If you do work out in the morning, there are usually a school of dolphin that swim by the Cove every morning between 7am - 9am, and you can see them clearly from the gym while running/walking on the treadmill. I'd also suggestion calling The Inn On Mt Ada and making a lunch reservation, it's one of my favorite places to eat on the island. In addition, stop by Luau Larry's and have a WIKIWAKI (and get a free straw hat) some time during your visit. BTW, the unit will be unlocked and the keys are in the unit. Check-in is at 3 pm and check out is at 10 am. Please don't forget normal check out is at 10am. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Breathtaking views. The condo is a fantastic getaway. It feels like you are in a quaint foreign remote village. The property manager was incredibly responsive and offered many wonderful suggestions. The golf cart makes a perfect stay. Excellent WiFi and taking calls and meetings from the balcony made working on vacation not so bad. There are a lot of stairs, so keep that in mind while packing. Our only complaint is the air mattress had a slow leak and did not hold air. That is an easy fix and will not stop us from renting the same condo again.

Beautiful Getaway…

Book here! Honestly, Lamont’s condo exceeded my all of my expectations. The property was clean, serene, & equipped with stunning views. Having a golf cart to explore the island was a MUST & made the trip so much more memorable. The ocean views from this spot were so surreal, it made it really hard to leave. Already counting down the days until I can come back to Hamilton Cove. :)

Perfect stay

This was our first time in Catalina and I’m very happy we chose to stay here. The host was patient and knowledgeable about the island. We loved having a golf cart. We made breakfast everyday and spent an afternoon by the pool. Great views. Close enough to town but far enough to have some privacy and peace. We will visit again and hope to stay here when we do!

Phenomenal Views and comfy condo

What a great little getaway! The condo is in the newish “neighborhood” of Hamilton Cove, which is about 10-15min golf cart drive or a 45min walk from Avalon. The nice thing is that unit comes with a golf cart so you will be covered. There is a taxi service on the island but driving around in a golf cart like most residence there is super fun and convenient. The unit itself is comfortable with a queen bed in the master and a pull out couch in the living room. Kitchen has all you need but we only did breakfast there. I will warn you that you have to walk up four flights of stairs to get to the front door but the balcony view makes up for it and you can sit in a chair admiring the view as you recover ;) The unit itself has been recently refurbished, but that sadly can’t be said about the golf cart. It’s an older model and the front plexiglass is very scratched up and little scatters at night making it a little difficult to see the road in front of you when you drive at night. This is only reason why I gave an 4 stars overall. Other than that it was a great stay and the viewing are incredible. The host was prompt with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great Workcation Spot

Perfect week workcation. I wanted to hear and see the ocean while I remote worked early hours of the day and then be able to vacation in the afternoon and this property delivered. The property manager was in contact before my arrival which was a nice touch. The unit is as described and pictured- clean, plenty of storage, fully equipped kitchen, great wifi and nice updates with the renovation that was done. There are cameras in the exterior of the unit- one by front entrance and two off the balcony entrances. There are 2 outlets with usb ports- one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The balcony area is shared and the views are spectacular. The unit is located in building one. There are about 7 flights (96 steps) to walk up from the bottom paved area next to the pool where the unit’s golf cart is parked. Alternatively, you can walk down 8 flights (102 steps) from the top near the entrance to the community. There is no AC but ceiling fans and ocean breeze were great. There is heat if you come during cooler months. In the double doors next to the unit’s front door is a washer and dryer which was greatly appreciated! There is a private beach on property with roped off area for swimming/snorkeling: I would recommend water shoes as its a bit rocky like all the beaches on the east side of the island. There is also a pool, gym, tennis court and putting green onsite. The unit is about 5 mins from the Beach club and 10-15mins from town. The gas powered golf cart was nice to get around town. There is one gas station close to town if you need to top it off. Thanks so much for a great week. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place!

Communication was the best we’ve ever had. Location was just perfect. Golf cart was such an added bonus. The many steps weren’t bad at all. Will definitely refer to our friends and family!

Jazz Weekend Getaway

Owner was great (very responsive) at communicating with me before and during my stay. Was disappointed with the condition of the golf cart, front door top lock was not functional, and no soap or shampoo in the bathrooms so we went into town and bought for ourselves. I communicated with the owner who sent over shampoo, conditioner and soap at 9am of day 2 to rectify and I appreciated that. Unit is about halfway up the hill so lots of stairs but par for the course in Hamilton Cove. Overall a nice, clean property and very comfortable. With a few fixes (front door lock, golf cart, stock bathroom supplies) this place has great potential to be a 5/5.

Quick trip!

The property setting was stunning. The unit does sleep four but you should know that that includes one person sleeping on a couch and one on a blow up mattress. As well, we thought their would be tennis racket, golf clubs, etc in the unit based on our communication with property owner. Note that you have to ask for them at the front gate. We did not know that until the day we were leaving and we would have enjoyed those things. Overall, really beautiful and great location.

Absolutely Gorgeous

The view from the balcony is absolutely gorgeous. The condo was the perfect size for us. The pool was right at the bottom of the stairs. It couldn’t have been more convenient.

Very nice property. The balcony could use an umbrella and lounge chair. Also there is no separation between balconies and the neighbor one is full with rusted junks. A bit disappointing when everything else is so nice. But still a great place

Awesome view

Beautiful interior and awesome view. Bare necessities for cookware (not a gourmet kitchen). A LOT OF STAIRS! 8 flights kicked my but day one but after a few days they are no problem and while it was a concern for me …how my 76 year old husband would handle them , since the unit is eight flights up or eight flights down we dropped him off at the top so he walked down to the unit and we picked him up at the bottom so he walked down to the golf cart…easy solution. Overall it was a lovely place to spend a week and we would stay again!

Beautiful location!

Would highly recommend this property for your stay in Catalina! The condo is beautiful, and has a stunning ocean view from all rooms. Additionally, the private access to the water is unbeatable!
