It is a sweet stop at the Candy Shoppe Loft! Located above the famous Pucker Up Candy Shoppe, the Loft features 9 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and is situated right in the heart of Geneva-on-the-Lake’s entertainment district. Perfect for large groups, this completely remodeled second-floor property gives you one of the best locations for walking to all attractions on the Strip. The Loft has 9 queen beds and 2 sleeper sofas to accommodate 22 people, flat screen TVs with cable in every room, and wireless internet access. After a day of enjoying all the Strip has to offer, relax in the master bath’s whirlpool tub and walk-in sauna. A quick 13 steps up to the deck entrance of the house provides an incredible view of Lake Erie and the entire Strip from almost every room.
Amenities offered by the pet friendly Candy Shoppe Loft include: Central A/C; Wi-Fi and cable; A fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils; Fresh linens and towels are stocked in all 3 bathrooms. The outdoor entertainment space at the Loft boasts an elevated furnished deck with gas fire pit and stocked propane grill.
Check in is 4:00 p.m. and checkout is 11:00 a.m. Parking for up to 8 vehicles is easily accessible just off Lake Road.
Geneva-on-the-Lake in Ashtabula County, Ohio, is an old-fashioned lakefront getaway offering something for everyone, and the Candy Shoppe Loft is in an ideal location for walking and easy driving to attractions on the famous entertainment Strip and north shore.

Swim at the State Park or stroll along the beach, then take a ride on the Ferris wheel. There are several restaurants and wineries right on the lake, and our spectacular sunsets offer the perfect subject for photo enthusiasts.

Weekend vacation

We had a wonderful weekend get a away! It was a family vacation. We roamed around town and went to the beach. The rental was very roomy. We loved the sauna I. The bathroom. The fire pit on the deck was a great place to congregate. The only thing I didn’t realize was that I needed to bring a blow dryer. Otherwise the place had everything we needed.

Great for large groups!

This property was excellent for a small stay with all my friends. We enjoyed having so much around. It’s a great place to bring everyone and enjoy all GOTL has to offer! Bonus…we could see the lake from our window!

Great rental!

The rental was extremely clean, kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels, and the nine bedrooms & 3 baths were a bonus for a family gathering! The owner, Matt, is excellent at replying to emails! We will definitely stay there again!

Great for a huge family!

We had a great time! We had 8 adults and 6 kiddos and we had plenty of room! We had plenty of everything we needed. There is a regular drip coffee pot and one for k-cups. Many of the shops and restaurants in GOTL are closed in the winter. We would love to see how the city transforms in the summer!

GIRLS GOTL CHRISTMAS CRAWL WEEKEND

My girlfriends and I have been going to GOTL for years, we love it. This is the second year we did a Christmas Crawl. There were 9 woman, and the fact that each of us had our own rooms, queen size beds with a tv, was amazing! There is also 3 bathrooms which is a bonus! Perfect location! Perfect size!

Bachelor Party

I’ve stayed in this property before for a bachelor party, so I booked it for another one. The property is perfectly placed on the strip with easy access to any type of bar, restaurant, or shop you could think of. It also is a short walk to the lake. We really enjoyed our stay. I would like to add that the fans in the living room did not work, nor did it looked like they had been cleaned/dusted in a long time. Also, the fans in the bedrooms seemed to be sporadic on whether they worked or not. All in all, it was a pleasurable stay.

Loved it so much we are planning our next trip

We just came back from our weekend stay. Loved it - there were 11 of us. If you are a frequent VBRO-er, you know that owners sometimes use old pictures, camera tricks or exaggerate on their listing. I go into every unit expecting to be slightly underwhelmed. Since I set my expectations, I am rarely disappointed. Kudos to the management of this unit because it exceeded our expectations. 1) the unit was VERY clean. It had enough seating, towels and open space to be comfortable. 2) the owner communicated very well. There were no exaggerations or misleading info provided. 3) The only complaint is that the bar next door plays loud music starting at 5 pm. It stopped at 1 am but it is very loud. However, we had read the reviews and knew to expect that. The location cannot be beat. We listened to the live music on Saturday night from the second story deck. It was like having box seats. The adult “kids” were able to walk to the bars and restaurants and not have to worry about driving. And no searching for parking.

Pucker Up

We had a large family group to attend a wedding and the place worked out great for us. Very well stocked with paper towels/toilet paper/trash bags. Clean, we generated lots of trash and it was taken care of throughout the week. Cleaning crew checked with us midweek regarding need for towels. Great location, great experience overall. Well done. Would definitely rent again.

Great location

This was a fun spot to stay. Close walking distance for food, drink and entertainment. If your opposed to hearing outside music. It may not be the spot for you, especially on weekends. However we enjoyed it. We were early in the season and many places were closed on weekdays but still plenty of things to do. Unit was as described with easy check in and check out. 9 bedrooms was perfect for our group. Everything was clean and plenty of extra linens for pull out sofas. Could probably use some new mattresses but not bad for our 3 nights. Kids loved the candy shop below.
