Modern-Farmhouse Bungalow - 2 BDR / 2BR that comfortably sleeps 10 people! Spacious living and dining room area. 5-Star kitchen and appliances. Family-sized washer and dryer. Centrally-located home east of downtown Austin! You’ll be right in the middle of popular bars, award winning restaurants, and a few blocks away from the Lake! One minute walk from the trail or stroll over to East 5th and 6th streets for more food, fun, and entertainment! One minute walk to Caesar.

Five minute walk from water, 20 minute walk from downtown.

Driveway is large enough for any kind of vehicle. Reference photos.

This property was curated for Pat and Ellie’s extended families to stay when they are in Austin. It is simply immaculate.

No parties. No pets. No smoking.

Check-in time is 3pm or later. Access is through a keyless lock for which you'll be provided a code prior to arrival, so late night check-ins are not a problem. Check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be accommodated if there isn’t another guest checking in or out on the day you need it. Just ask via the message feature and we will see what can be worked out!

Great location, but otherwise disappointing

Honestly, it felt like the host just wasn't organized or prepared to host us.There weren't enough towels and no hot water and it took quite a while to get these issue resolved

We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it! The neighborhood was quiet but we could still walk to restaurants, shops and ice cream!

Convenient, Clean and Comfortable

A short walk from amazing food, drinks, coffee and places with live music. Easily accessible as well -never ran into traffic coming or going from down town or from the other side of Austin. The home is between a school and a church -so we felt very safe and the street was quiet. Well cared for home (clean and had thoughtful touches throughout) that made our stay restful. Going forward -this will be where we stay anytime we visit Austin.

Some problems but all in all it was a stay.

There were some maintenance and ant issues in the kitchen upon check in but were corrected pretty quickly by management so that is very good. We were disappointed in the lack of cleaning supplies, there was no broom and there are a lot of leaves on the property so those get tracked inside but no way to sweep them up. Also if there is a spill or something in the kitchen a broom would be very helpful. No kitchen cleaning supplies, we had to go to the store and buy spray and wipes so we could clean the kitchen after using it. I"m sure the ant issue is compounded by the lack of supplies for guests to clean up after themselves.Thinnest toilet paper known to man, shows that every expense was spared to save money. We purchased toilet paper along with cleaning supplies while at the store.Most VRBO's we stay in feel "homey" and lived in, there is usually a drawer we find of just random things someone typically may need, this place had nothing like that. The overall environment is very "sterile" and hotel like. There is a guest book, but no one has signed it? Why? Because there is not a single pen in the entire house. Safety is a concern in this house as there is only 1 door at the front of the house. Never seen this before, usually there is a back door of some sort. So if there was a fire or something blocking the only door then the only option out of the house are windows. Not very ideal or safe in my opinion.Management was responsive in addressing ant issues quickly.

Great place

This was a clean and easy place for getting around Austin. It’s in an interesting neighborhood. The only critique is not having one room with a larger bed. They were all queens which can get tight when sharing a bed. Other than that, the place was great!
