Summary:
Stay at Oneroa Vines and Views, a beautifully refurbished home overlooking Cable Bay’s rolling vines and the sparkling water between two of Waiheke’s most coveted bays. With sun-filled decks, calming interiors, and generous outdoor living, this is a place made for slow mornings, long meals, and effortless island days.
The Space:
From the moment you arrive, the home feels bright and open, surrounded by wide lawns, trees, and views that shift with the light. The main level is designed for relaxing and gathering, with floor-to-ceiling glass capturing the greens and blues of the landscape and sliding doors that fully open the living area to the outdoors. Whether you're cooking, sharing a meal, reading on the sofa, or simply enjoying the warmth of the afternoon sun, the entire space flows naturally and comfortably.
The kitchen, dining, and lounge sit together in an airy open-plan layout that makes hosting easy. The kitchen is modern and well equipped for creating meals at home, while the living area feels warm and inviting with soft textures, calm colours, and thoughtful furnishings chosen to make guests feel instantly at ease. This level opens onto two key outdoor spaces: the private rear deck, sheltered and peaceful, and the front balcony, where you can watch the sun dip behind the hills with a glass of wine in hand.
Downstairs, a separate media room offers a quiet retreat for movie nights, rainy afternoons, or simply giving everyone their own space. The home’s layout suits couples, families, or small groups travelling together, giving a sense of privacy while still feeling connected.
Outside, the property stretches across generous grounds with open lawns, native plantings, and a tree house nestled among the greenery, a lovely hideaway for children and a reminder of how special it is to slow down and unwind in nature.
