❖GUEST ROOM TOO SMALL? ❖
Welcome to our car-shop themed cottage offering high style, high tech, plush comfort, and privacy with no shared walls! Newly built, thoughtfully furnished, with an open concept living area and a dedicated work station. Lounge on our deep couch in front of a 75” smart tv + free wifi; or shake a cocktail and prep a meal in our fully equipped kitchen. We are a short walk from Old Town Auburn, with quick access to the freeway.

Dean's Garage is a detached building that shares the property with the owner's house. Ideal for one or two guests. It has its own gated space with a level concrete patio covered by a shade sail and cozy string lights; and steps up to a landscaped petite side yard. The house is 540 sq ft, with a separate one bedroom, one bathroom (walk-in shower, Toto washlet, towel warmer), stacked laundry and a full linen closet. This little house has 7 windows, each with light blocking shades or curtains. Our theme follows Dean’s lifetime love of all things vroom and braap, with foraged and hand assembled decor. We hope you enjoy!

Dean’s Garage is well appointed with everything we need to cook, do laundry, exercise, whatever. We have stayed a few times and always have everything we need. It is extremely clean. There is a private patio that was wonderful for sitting and enjoying the day.

Oh my, our stay at Dean's Garage was just amazing! The property is extremely well kept, the kitchen a dream to work in and is very well stocked and organized, everything you need but fresh food! There is a very large TV in the living rooom area, and a great desk area to work at. Do emember your passwords to use on the TV to sign in for apps like Netflicks, Paramont, etc. We couldn't have asked for anything more in amenities. It also has its own gated entrance, and a sweet, little sitting area which we took advantage of for coffee in the morning and afternoon high-tea. The owners were very attentive to my questions which was greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

Perfect spot in Auburn

We were happy and comfortable in this very well equipped cottage that is walking distance to old town Auburn! Especially loved the high end finishes, easy cooking and modern bathroom. The owners clearly put thought and pride into creating an exceptional experience for their guests!

Wonderful hideaway centrally located

Traveling alone, I was cautious about safety. This sits in a lovely residential area just steps across the Maple Street Bridge and old town Auburn. Great location. And the unit was marvelous, immaculate, and great attention to every detail. It’s clear the owners are proud of the quality. The entire unit was very elegant, comfy and cozy. Lovely little patio, always well lit each night as I returned from visiting with friends and family. Highly recommend. I’m coming back for sure!

Having stayed with Aniko and Dean preciously in 2023, we were confident in our choice! They did not disappoint! This property is charming, stylish and well equipped. They are incredibly thoughtful of every detail. Wonderful stay!

Wonderful Cottage

This cottage is clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything we needed for cooking. There is a sweet, private patio area where we sat and had a glass of wine. Although we didn’t need it, the hosts supplied personal care products. We did enjoy the coffee provided! We hope to rent this home when we return to the area next year.

Exactly what we needed.

Stayed to visit family in the area. Very easy access to area roads, groceries, fuel, restaurants. The "theme" for the rental was an extra bonus because my spouse rebuilds cars - so we enjoyed that as well. It was the perfect place.

A great place to stay!

Our first impression was WOW! It was better than the pictures. Everything in this place is like new, and high end. The living space is well thought out, roomy, comfortable and efficient. And nicely decorated. They provide everything you might need. The bed is great, the bathroom and shower too . Even the outside patio area is nicely landscaped, cozy, and private. The hosts are great! They messaged me a few days in to see if we needed anything. (We didn't) After we left, we realized I had left my ROKU attached to their tv. They kindly shipped it back to me, and wouldn't let me reimburse them. I told my wife several times, if I ever needed to build a small home, I would copy this one! We'll definitely stay here again when visiting Auburn!

Love this place. Like our home away from home. Everything you need, and little extras, are so nice. Owners think of all those little things one may forget. Even a hair tie and ear plugs. Super quiet. Convenient o stores,coffee and highway great night sleep.

Lovely stay in Auburn

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights to visit friends in town and so he could run the CIM. The house had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. So many thoughtful, quality touches: kitchen with nice appliances and cookware, large comfy couch, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on, many pillow options, clean modern bathroom with eco toiletries, even a large umbrella for the 1 rainy day. We walked to downtown easily within 10 minutes and the neighborhood was quiet for good sleeping. Very easy to communicate with hosts as well. We highly recommend this home and plan to return in the future.

In a time where everyone takes things away, this place offers more

2nd stay. Our new "home away from home" super peaceful and comfortable. Owners are very thoughtful with the little pluses, like that comforter, Qtips, tylenol, cocktail on the house. The details make it perfect. Will be back! (hubbys said if I give to good a review he is worried it won't be available for our next trip😆 )

Convenient and comfortable

Visiting the area (used to live nearby) for Grandson's BD. Great use of space inside and out. All full size appliances including dishwasher!(rare in this size rentals) super comfy. More than enough room for 2. Great shower! Lots of ameneties. Great decor. Mini split was great on warm summery days.Close to grocery stores, coffee and In n Out! Will be back.
