ACCESS & ENTRY:
-Guests have access to the entire home during their stay.
-Please note that there are stairs to enter the home in the front of the property.
-This property is a duplex. There is another unit on the ground level of the property that is completely separate. There are no shared spaces or access from one unit to the other.
-Please be respectful to the neighbors and the surrounding homes and businesses.
-Please note that check-out time is promptly at 11:00 AM. Failure to check out by this time may result in a $100 fee per hour. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a smooth transition for our next guests. Thank you for your understanding!

KEYLESS ENTRY:
-Your host will provide you with the door code approximately one hour prior to check in the day of your trip.

PARKING:
-There is a driveway at this property for 2-3 vehicles.
-The driveway is inbetween properties and is narrow. It may be difficult for larger vehicles to fit.
-There is also free street parking in front of the home where available.
-Please be advised that since the property is close to the beach, there may be a lot of beachgoers on the block and within the vicinity at times.
-Guests are responsible for city street parking compliance; read & follow signage to avoid parking tickets.
-We are not responsible for parking tickets due to negligence.

MAIL:
-Do not send packages to the property via mail as we do not have access to the locked street mailboxes for the property.
-If there is something of priority that you need shipped please reach out to us directly for alternative options.
-We are not responsible for any items shipped to the property.

-Property located in a city environment; potential for noise from cars or foot traffic.

HONESTY & EXPECTATIONS:
At "Chelsea Chalet", we want our guests to have a clear understanding of the distinctions between vacation rentals and hotels. While we diligently maintain our properties, wear and tear are inherent aspects of vacation rentals. Although we address issues promptly, the high volume of guests may result in occasional delays between stays. Any significant damage or serious concerns are prioritized and resolved before a guest's check-in, provided we are made aware of the issue.

CLEANING:
Our dedicated cleaning team meticulously sanitizes and cleans each home. Unlike standard hotel rooms, homes entail a more detailed cleaning process due to their larger size. Despite our team's efforts to ensure optimal cleanliness, minor oversights may occur. For substantial errors, we are committed to rectifying the situation promptly. While we take pride in our cleaning standards, we ask for understanding that, as in any human endeavor, perfection is not always attainable, especially when minor details have no direct impact on your stay.

HOUSEHOLD ITEMS:
As private residences, it's important to recognize that household items may break or require repairs during your stay. While we understand the inconvenience this may pose to our guests, it's equally disruptive for us. Appliances such as water tanks, HVAC systems, dishwashers, and refrigerators may experience issues. We cannot guarantee immunity from such occurrences, but we pledge to address and resolve any situation swiftly. While we assure our commitment to guests' well-being, we're honest about the potential for unforeseen issues.

RESERVATION/CANCELLATION NOTES:

We are always happy to welcome families! Please note that the property is not childproof, and children must be always supervised by an adult for safety.
-Atlantic City is a barrier island and city style environment; expect possible common sightings of household ants, critters or mice especially during certain times of the years. Properties are not immune to household issues like this and may have evidence of preventative treatments and measures.
-Beaches are free; no tags or passes required. Beach amenities not provided.
-We utilize quilts on most of our beddings for comfort, durability, and sanitary reasons. If extra blankets are needed, let us know before check-in.
-If you are extremely sensitive to smells, please note that odors from food, smoke, or other sources from outside or neighboring units may occasionally be noticeable. If this is a major concern for you, please keep this in mind.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

-This is NOT a party house. City-wide quiet hours from 10pm-7am.
