Leafy Candler Park is a quiet, largely residential neighborhood, with late-19th- and early-20th-century homes. Community events are often held at landscaped Candler Park, which has a golf course, playground and swimming pool. Trails wind past outdoor art installations in adjacent Freedom Park. McLendon Avenue is home to laid-back cafes and restaurants that serve Southern food.

Lake Claire is a neighborhood on the east side of Atlanta, Georgia, United States, comprising approximately 1,200 homes. It is situated entirely in the DeKalb County side of the city, east of Candler Park, north of Kirkwood, west of Decatur, and south of Druid Hills.

Conveniently located in the Candler Park/Lake Claire area, this carriage house/loft is perfect for business travelers or vacationers. House is off of Dekalb Ave (located near train tracks and Marta line), access to property is through the alley behind the main house on Dekalb Ave. This bright and spacious carriage house is fully equipped. It boasts a full kitchen (stainless steel appliances/large fridge/Keurig coffee maker/dishes/cookware), large bathroom (dual sinks/stand up shower and bath), washer/dryer located in the master closet area, both bedrooms have comfortable King sized beds, and plenty of space to hang clothes, etc.

*For our longer term bookings: essentials such as coffee, cooking oil, sugar, toilet paper etc. are provided for your use upon arrival, but not replenished once they run out.

The second bedroom is actually the entire loft area overlooking the living space that is accessible by a custom set of ergonomic compact steep steps (not handicap accessible).

Balcony deck/seating area for your convenience. You have one designated parking spot for off street parking and plenty of on street parking available.

-Access to the property is from the alley directly behind the house. Use Casson St. to get to the alley directly behind Dekalb Ave. There is one designated, off street parking spot for you in front of the yellow garage door (Parking space # F). There is also plenty of street parking available on Casson or Mathews.
Dekalb Ave runs along the train tracks and Marta rail line.
-Front door is on the second floor.

Edgewood/Candler Park is on the Blue and Green Line. There is a surface parking lot on the DeKalb Avenue side of the station with free daily spaces. No overnight parking. Inman Park has multiple Zip cars as well as MARTA bus connections.

Nice location, great property

We rented the unit to be close to family during the holidays and it certainly met our needs. Nicely appointed, very clean and provisioned. Check in was simple and the off street parking was perfect. A very nice stay.
