Unique Apartment close to Acropolis by GHH

  • This unique, modern and brand new (renovation March 2018) is located in an area where our guests can be really close to all of the major Archeological sites and Museums of Athens. Moreover, it is 4 min. walking from the Acropolis Metro Station. At the same time the area is residential and keeps a local character.

    The apartment itself features an spacious living room with a 55" Smart TV and an open plan fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms with king-size double beds with Dunlopillo matresses and 1 bedroom with a sofa bed that turns into a comfortable double bed. Additionally, it is furnished with BoConcept pieces and there are two lounge chair in the living room that can be turned into 2 single beds. Finally, the 2 full bathrooms and can cover the needs for a large group.


    There is also a balcony for morning coffees or evening drinks.

    For late check-in after 21:00pm there is an extra fee of 15 euros

Great location, easy access

The VRBO was close to famous sites, restaurants and shopping. The place was very clean and was big enough to comfortably accommodate a large group. There were only two of us so we were spoiled. The host did a great job of checking in and making sure we had what we need.ed.

What a great apartment in a wonderful neighborhood! Just as described it was homey, clean, easy check in and walkable to restaurants and attractions. The lift was especially helpful. Excellent apartment in the heart of Athens!

Great Location!

The apartment was a great location and the check in process was simple. We had a bit of an issue running all air conditioners and the water heater but otherwise it was a pretty comfortable stay.

Great Location

This apartment was surprisingly spacious for our group of 7. The apartment is located within a 5-10 minute walk from the Acropolis and some good restaurants and bars. There is also a nearby bus stop for the line that goes to the beach, which was approximately 15-20 minutes away. We didn’t cook during our stay, but the kitchen seemed to have a basic selection of cookware. A previous review mentioned bed bugs, but we had no problems with cleanliness during our stay. It seems like the property manager has done a thorough cleaning. Overall, we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the location in a more quiet part of town but still super close to the popular sights. We would definitely books this place again. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

BED BUGS!!

Summary: I hate to write this because I know it can have a huge impact on the rental but I have to be honest. One bed was FULL OF BED BUGS. The host/manager was quick to reply to my message of the pics and video and refund me but having to find a taxi and new hotel for 4 rooms at midnight after seeing your bed covered in bed bugs was a terrible experience. Full review: Check in was easy with an email link to a PowerPoint explaining how to get in. Via the key in the lockbox at the front entrance. Elevator can be used to get luggage to room. Everything seemed like a normal mediocre Vrbo/Abnb other than the following: -water heater/boilers . In all of Greece they use a solar heater to warm up the water which requires an electrical panel breaker to be turned on (for the electrical heater) as a back up if the sun isn’t out (must be done about 1hr ahead of time) . This is slightly weird If you haven’t experienced it before. -Heaters/aC . Each room has a wall mount unit of which 2/5 weren’t working properly. As a forewarning there is a few minute delay between setting the temp and it turning on (I experienced this in our other Vrbo so I assume it’s normal . Maybe for the heater circuit to warm up?)

Athens Vacation

I often stay in VRBO properties when I vacation. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Jenny was one of the most helpful property managers I have ever dealt with. She was always quick to answer any of my questions. She gave directions to find the subway, a place to get the covid tests, set up my transfers from the airport and to the cruise port, etc. The place was perfect! It was comfortable for my entire family which included my husband, my daughter and her boyfriend, and my son. Each couple got their own rooms and there was an air conditioner in each room which was perfect for the hot Athens days. The apartment was within walking distance of all we wanted to see in Athens-the historic district, the parliament building, the shopping district, and botanical gardens. The only reason why we are giving this apartment 5 stars is because 6 stars was not an option. Loved this place and hope to return one day!

Family vacation was fantastic

This was a perfect place for our family of 5. Very spacious and in a perfect location for walking. Everything as described with no surprises. Loved the roller shades in the bedrooms! Allowed us the darkness to sleep in. Book…you won’t regret it
